^we're getting all that in the form of rain here! (i'm in CT right now, but was in PA yesterday). personally, i'd rather have the snow--prettier and more likely to cancel things!

^is it really dead today? i think it's been deader before...well i think that's because now that i'm in school, i'm usually on at like 10 AM here, which is like 3PM for UK and a little later in other places where people are, so it's kind of a dead time around the world! BUT WHERE IS THE STAR?!?! they HAVE to know what date they're going to release it and they HAVE to know what they're going to call it if it's going to be out in may like everyone says. all this delay in telling us makes me think it WON'T be out in may and we'll have to wait even longer, which makes me incredibly sad and frustrated. so why aren't they telling us?! *whines*

i think it's going to be weird fishes and jigsaw, personally. i would have hoped for videotape and jigsaw, but weird fishes would be my next preference. i just thought videotape was more widely loved than it actually is according to this thread! and i LOVE house of cards! well, i love all of them...but nude is my least fave.

i for one LIKE chris's afro! well, ok, not really the afro afro, but i like it when you can see that it's curly...i love his hair in the talk video, for example. and it DOES kind of look like an ipod video! i kind of really can't wait for this. i've been playing that song like crazy in the past few days because i was coming home from uni and yeah...:rolleyes:

^haha, i actually wouldnt be all that surprised if they DID name it LP4! :laugh4: it sounds like their brand of humor. haha, semy!! how long did that take you?! i just about died laughing i'm still hoping that they're withholding one really kick-ass songtitle from us that will be the album title (if they're going to stick with the tradition of naming the album after one of the songs on it), but from the ones we have so far, i think death and all his friends sounds the coolest as a title, even if it is kind of more dark than anything they've used before, song or album title. i could certainly live iwth 42, but i'm hoping for something a bit more original--lots of other bands have done numbers as titles. i'm still a fan of my logic control title with this as the cover :rolleyes: and i always thought some band somewhere should name their album something like wolf & bee because it's really close to being ebb & flow backwards. perhaps wolf & (b)be(e)? not that it's a problem or a bad thing or anything, but i'm just curious as to why someone would join a coldplay board if they knew nothing about them in the first place...:thinking:

for some reason that lego pizzeria was my favorite thing in the world even though it was small and uncomplicated and your playing with it was limited to pizzeria-related scenarios...but i think it had to do with the pizzas looking tasty... i still have the set, actually. i still have all my legos. i really should bring them out so we can have that contest that never happened. i also had this really great mcmansion dollhouse, but it was made by megablocks and not lego. and megablocks just don't fit together nearly as well. actually, it might not have even been megablocks...it may have been something totally unheard of. still, though, i LOVED that dollhouse to death.

my math teacher (one of my best friends, actually) has the same thing! well, it's an arm chair, but we all get to sit on it on our birthdays etc. i think wooden chairs are the worst--the plastic ones are slightly more comfortable IMO.

...i was under the impression that this whole thread was a radiohead party.... but radios and heads (especially thom heads!) makes it better! :laugh4:

YAY!!! in rainbows survivor!! :dance: :stunned: BUT HOW ARE YOU ALL VOTING VIDEOTAPE?! i think it's one of the best on the album!! during my first listen, that's the song that hit me most. i'm going to fight to keep it in! i voted nude; it does the least for me out of all of the songs. but all the subsequent rounds are going to be extremely painful for me, perhaps even more so than kid A.

:stunned: WHOA. did this totally blow your mind when you figured it out? i think i would die laughing if i actually knew someone on here and it took me so long to figure it out. i thought it was funny that it took anna and me so long to realize we lived less than an hour apart, but this is just priceless! i LOVED legos!! (its actually my pet peeve when people call the plural 'lego' even though it may be correct :rolleyes: i just dont like the way it sounds). this pizzeria lego set was kind of my entire life for a while: legos actually used to be made in CT! ok, look what i just found: DUDE.

briggs DEFFI needs one of those mustaches. and the flying-ass pants. i sympathize with your butt-pain: i was in a car for 4 hours today, and that was after taking a 2-hour long midterm in one of those really old fashioned wooden desks. not a good ass-day in our hemisphere, i would say. i brought a chair to uni from home because i knew the wood ones in the dorm would kill me. so i've got a nice wheely quasi-leather one from ikea. but i sit on my bed mostly anyway.

:rolleyes: this is insane. it's either a typo or someone being stupid based on no evidence. nothing to worry about.

^i really like that it's widely considered one of the best songs on the album, not just another monotonous collaboration that's only half decent. i kind of really can't wait for the vid. music videos are one of mt favorite art forms ever. and chris is one of my favorite people ever...

i tend to enjoy guys' friendships more, i think. of course, this is providing that they're the right type of guys--i'm not so into the jocky, heavy-drinking, obnoxious and loud types that we have at my uni. but in high school, four out of the six people i consider my best friends were guys. i think they're less complicated and hard to figure out, and in general they're more accepting, or at least the guys at my school were. of course, they're also unreliable and can be complete morons. it's hard to say which is better to have as a friend, but i find girls too judgemental, viscious, and teenyboppery for my liking most of the time.

ooh, thanks for the info :nice: but unfortunately, if i cut out the sugary/starchy carbs, i'd definitely starve to death and i'd rather be alive and grey then emaciated and hungry and dead :P seriously, though, thanks for the info.

:laugh1: haha, well i can't very well go around taking pictures of perfect strangers. and like i say, none of them are IDENTICAL to jonny or will or guy--they just have that general look to their faces and have similar hair. but i just find it funny that there are so many coldplay-esque guys here...too bad they're all older than me.

^i suppose we do kind of know that it's going to be out in may, but because i'm a pessimist i don't fully believe it until THEY confirm it. that's why i want a release date so badly--so i can stop worrying that it'll never come out and so there can be a light at the end of the tunnel! i don't really know WHY they're not telling us--they must have a date in mind by now, no? i think they have to tell us next week as well, but then again, that's what i said about this week...

MAJOR SQUEE this is the only rap/hip hop song i've ever liked. of course it has something to do with chris being a part of it, but it's not JUST because of chris--i also think it's a good song overall, and i don't like "beach chair" which chris was also in. i was kind of hoping in the back of my mind that chris would be in the video... any idea of a release date??

eh, i've had various hair issues all my life. and since in started in may, i really dont think it's stress because may-december 2007 was the most UN-stressful time in my life. i think it's just genes. i don't think i'm going to go COMPLETELY grey anytime soon or anything; it's just weird to be starting so early. i guess this is better than when my hair was falling out in clumps last october. i was really really sick for like a month and i lost a lot of hair in that time. it wasn't noticible then either, but it got to the point where i was beginning to get scared. but grey hair is better than no hair, i suppose :p

briggs, did you edit that post or were X&Y always missing? because the first time i looked i could have sworn they were there :thinking:

at my uni, there's one guy berryman lookalike, a couple will lookalikes and SEVERAL jonny lookalikes. well, ok, none of them are like identical to the guys, but they all have certain elements to their faces or bodies that look a LOT like the coldplay guys. i haven't seen a chris yet, though...i may have to marry him on the spot if i do :rolleyes: :laugh4:
