  1. Abuse me all you like, but I was actually happy that Harry and Ginny got together... She's not as annoying as she used to be. I hope Harry isn't annoying in this book... He started to piss me off in book 6 with his whining and complaining about Draco (even though he was right) and his weird attachment to the Prince... He's one of my least favourite characters at times, and he's the main character!
  2. 6th of January is my nieces birthday... So at least I have an easy way of remembering 'Coldplay Day' now..:)
  3. Back in May I had a dream about Coldplay (I remember because I got out of bed and wrote it down before going back to sleep). A friend and I were at a Coldplay concert in someones fairly large garage... The crowd wasn't really that big though. Anyway, they were playing and then I got this call from one of my other friends who wanted me to help her brother with an assignment he had to do on marketing. I said alright and he soon rocks up to the house and I go outside to speak to him and I was talking to him from the passenger side and while he's talking to me I glance up to see that Jonny is standing outside the garage watching to make sure that nothing happens to me! Anyway, so my friend's brother is asking me about how the concert was advertised and he was asking for posters so I went to find one and ended up having to go through the house to get one (the concert is over now) to ask the band if they had any posters. I found them in a lounge room talking together and just hanging out and Chris was drunk. I asked why he was and I think he said something like "Because I want to". So I asked for the posters and Guy got up to help me and he said he couldn't give me many because he collected them. Anyway, after thanking Jonny for looking out for me earlier and Guy finding the posters I woke up... but I imagined the rest of the dream anyway so I got to converse with them for a bit :)
  4. Ummm.... About a 45min/hour drive from the Western Suburbs of Sydney to more central Sydney to get to the Entertainment Centre.... So not very long
  5. I was chatting on MSN to one of my friends and when I told him I was doing Coldplay-related things he said to me to give him some names of songs so he can download them - so he could see why I love them so much, I guess - and I directed him to their myspace page to listen to Bigger Stronger and he liked it and then when he downloaded Speed of Sound he was all happy and typing in capital letters saying that he'd liked SoS but didn't know what it was called and it's one of his favourite songs! I was like "Yes! Another person who likes Coldplay!"
  6. To be honest, when I first heard Coldplay, I denied that I liked them because I was in early high school and everyone was into all R'n'B stuff and even though when I heard Yellow and Don't Panic and stuff I knew deep inside that I kinda liked them, I didn't admit it to myself. I completely regret that now because I missed out big time. I wish I had been a fan since the beginning instead of only coming in during X&Y but I guess things happen for a reason. But even though I've only been a fan for about 18 months or so, I love Coldplay completely. They're my first and only favourite band ever. Admittedly, I haven't been through much heartache or anything in my life, so I can't say that they have a song that speaks to me or anything... but at the same time, I can be so angry and upset and I can be crying my heart out and if I just think about Coldplay or listen to their music, I calm down almost instantly. I don't know where I'd be in life without them because they've seriously helped me discover who I am. As silly as that sounds.
  7. Nor did I really want to know "where they wear it"... but it was interesting to find out and know in any case lol
  8. ^^ yeah i agree, u can't at all see them studying the subjects they studied... coldplayrforgays... what's with picnic molesting? is that meant to be a profound insult or something...??
  9. HAHA! I never ever noticed that before... But that's really funny and interesting to know... Listen2Coldplay I wear no shoes and socks a lot of the time as well... I'm a bare foot person - I even walk around outside bare foot, I once walked home from school bare foot... I only wear socks if I'm wearing shoes and I only wear shoes if I need to/want to. I guess Chris wasn't wearing any when you saw him especially because his feet would have been all sweaty and yuck..
  10. I was listening to the radio today and sometimes they have bands/singers saying "You're listening to Nova" and a lot of the time they have negative things to say about the station (as a joke)... Anyway, today Chris and Jonny came on! They said something like this, although I can't remember exactly: Chris: Hi, I'm Chris Jonny: And I'm Jonny C: We're from the band Coldplay and you're listening to Nova J: Which is one of the best stations in the world C: You really think so? J: Yeah, it's one of my favourites C: Oh, ok then... Well I agree with you. And then The Hardest Part came on! Nova plays THP pretty often, actually...
  11. I don't think there will be free-to-air viewings of the concert soon... but sometimes Channel Ten shows concerts so there is a chance there for the future
  12. I've never heard of Coldplay fanfiction... I'm going to look that up now!
  13. When my nephew (who turns two in February) smiles/grins he reminds me of Chris because of the way his eyes kinda scrunch up and because of how cheeky the smile is! But my nephew is cuter... I'm a bit bias but little kids are always cute!
  14. I didn't see this thread earlier and so I didn't know about the concert showing until I was eating breakfast at 1.10pm (i slept in a little late lol) and switched on the TV and thought "I'll just check Max to see if/when they'll be playing Coldplay" because I assumed it would be Max that would play it and lo and behold it was already on and I caught the last 20mins of it! But i watched and taped the 6.30 one so it's all good.
  15. One of my friends went over to France and one of the first things I thought of when she told me she was going was "Oh my gosh, she'll only be a few hours away from Coldplay! She'll be so close!" At least, compared to the distance between Australia and England she'll be close.
  16. I've wondered about if each band member has a sponser child as well!
  17. On the drive back from the place we were staying at over Christmas, I played 'Parachutes' and my sister goes to me "Is that guy and Gwyneth Paltrow still happily married?" and I was like "Yeah, they just had another kid in April" and she goes "What did they name this one? Is it Apple and Pear?" and I go "No, Apple and Moses" and she's like "WHAT? Apple and Roses?" I started to laugh and I'm like "No, Moses not Roses"... then I went on to tell her the other Coldplay kids and when I told her about Ava she said that she loves that name and that she had already decided that it would be her future daughters name.. Oh, and three of my cousins (they're brothers) like Coldplay! One of them says that they're alright, another likes them okay as well, and another likes them and has all three of their albums on his computer (but he teased me about how much I like them)! I'm happy about that!
  18. I would ask something along the lines of: How do you and the other band members feel about the amount of influence you have over fans (i.e. how you all may be imitated or that what you believe in and promote is taken up by some as well)? Can it get scary or is it a nice thing to know? lol... sounded better in my head.
  19. haha! i just love the Aussie language!
  20. of course you're not...
  21. Oh my gosh! I notice it all the time if things are in Albertus... but you have to keep it to yourself because people around you think you're a loser if you go around saying "did you know that such and such is in the coldplay font?"
  22. i thought that you might have been talking about braces, but i wasn't sure... haha! it so doesnt suit Australians to say "homie" or anything like that...
  23. ^ Haha! i like it! It's a wiggly party! *starts singing Wiggles songs* I think it'd be nice for them to go back to just wearing casual clothes...
  24. I love it when people say things from coldplay songs without knowing it themselves... It brightens up my day!
