  1. We're due an update from Prospekt this week aren't we? And I don't want another one saying how close they are to finishing, cos they've been using that one for months. I could wait another week for an update. But it has to be some hard, concrete information this time. Please guys. Release date - Album title - anything. I don't think I can take it much longer.
  2. "Look at the stars..." That sounds vaguely familiar aswell...
  3. There's a model that I'm thinking of getting at christmas called the DGX 620, you might want to check that one out. Its got weighted keys, very realistic grand piano voice, and hundreds of other voices to choose from. You can also record songs on your keyboard and then transfer it to your computer, which is a big bonus. Its not particularly cheap though, unless you've saved up for a while like me. (Although, it seems far cheaper than the model you are considering ;) ) You can see a list of features here: http://www.dv247.com/invt/33483/
  4. Thanks alot :)
  5. Thanks for merging.
  6. Mogwai! Anyone heard of this band? They're really good. If you're a listener of progressive, psychedelic and post rock in general, you might want to check this band out - you won't regret it! Here's a video of one of their songs, Travel Is Dangerous: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tuGrEynG68&feature=relatedIf you havn't heard of them, try some of these songs below: Auto Rock - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TOI7K4A9 We're No Here - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=S9PCCVP4 Travel Is Dangerous - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KJY4QUWU You Don't Know Jesus - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z67KFGQ3 If you want to download some of their albums, you can go to the multimedia section for Mogwai HERE. So, anyone else like em?
  7. Happy birthday. Sorry it's late, and get well soon.
  8. Prospekt being the fifth member? I really like it!
  9. That design looks awesome, well done. ;)
  10. Here's the screenshot for the new star: ;)
  11. Just found out they broke up a couple of years back. Ah well.
  12. Wow, this band is actually quite good.
  13. If you mean that weird sort of reverse drum sound effect that seems out of sync with the rest of the song, I did edit it out (as well as adding a tiny bit of reverb) so the song basically sounds exactly the same, just without the annoying noise. ;) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JFVFALK7
  14. Well my version sounds identical to the album version, but I've just removed a little sound effect they use nearer the end. Its growing on me too :)
  15. (I've already posted this in the In Rainbows thread, but ill post here anyways ;) ) (I've already posted this is another thread, but heck I'll post it here aswell) For those people who dont like the album version of Videotape, I've been editing it so that the annoying reverse sound effect on the left speaker fades away after the chorus. I have also added very slight reverb to the song. I'm listening to it now and the changes are very subtle, but for me they make all the difference, the second half of the song sounds much better. EDIT: Download link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JFVFALK7 Hope you enjoy it more this way :)
  16. Let me know what you think :)

I'll make sure to upload it to a site like rapidshare in a minute, so stay posted for the link. :) EDIT: I'm uploading it to megaupload. It's encoded as a 256kbps mp3 to preserve quality. 18. Does anyone know where to download the mp3 for Videotape Live from the basement version?
  19. Videotape had more potential, yes... but it fits in very well with the rest of the album. I get this really weird feeling when I listen to this album, its like nothing they've ever done before, like it takes you on an enthralling journey, almost like you're in a trance. The album has a very distinct atmosphere about it. In terms of the way it sounds, its sorta like 60% OK Computer, 25% Kid A, 15% just feels new. Although as a whole album, you can't really compare it with the others somehow. Nude is brilliant by the way. :)
  20. Wow, I'm really impressed with this album. Nearly every single song lives up to the live performances. The only song I need to get use to is All I Need, which changed slightly (in terms of instrumentation), but it really is still brilliant. Reckoner - now that was a pleasant surprise! As was Faust Arp. I still need to listen to it much more, ive only listened 2x so far. Despite being a bit of a grower, this is looking to be one of their best. It definately hangs together better than HTTT did. Anyway, just my two cents there, might do a better review later on in the day :)
  21. I got it from the LP7 boards, the countdown timer, but it could be wrong.
  22. What email program do you use? 5 hours 28 minutes.
  23. You're not serious are you?
  24. Brilliant! All these squiggly noises and gunshots sound awesome! :laugh3:
