Your Favorite Art
The Hallucinogenic Toreador - Salvador Dali Probably my favourite surrealist painter of all time. Puddle - MC Escher Reptiles - MC Escher I love this guy's work. Its probably the type of thing I would have up on my walls when I get a place of my own. I've also been heavily influenced by this artist throughout my art course. He's an mathematical genius, this man. I've got a lot more favourites, but I don't want to take over this thread. I'll post some more tomorrow.

Coldplay.Com EXTRAS
Bah, December seems so far away. I hope by some magnificent stroke of luck I'll be able to get one of those free tickets, because theoretically that Brixton one is the first show they've done in over 14 months. And it'd also be my first concert ever  And they'll be playing the new stuff there, unlike last time on the south american tour. I'm also lucky that I'm turning 19 in June and not 18... if this thing happened this time last year I wouldn't have been able to get in.

Who is PROSPEKT???
PROOF THAT PROSPEKT = PHIL HARVEY Monday 19th May, 2008 The Bakery, London. It's ten years today since a cardboard box filled with 500 copies of the Saftey E.P. arrived on my doorstep from the manufacturer. I sold the first copy to my room-mate at university for £3. It took over a year to sell (or give away) the remaining 499. One of those copies found its way to Ms Debs Wild, then of Universal Records. And that's how all this got started... Prospekt

Coldplay CD Booklet!
Ah, yes I just noticed that too. I suppose there could still be a way to fit in lyrics somehow still, gah I hope so. Hahaha, YES PLEASE! :P

Coldplay CD Booklet!
Sorry if someone's already noticed this. Fumbling around on the Brixton unlockable 'puzzle', I found that they added small descriptions to the unveiled images! And it says that each image is a page in the CD booklet that comes with the new album! Some examples below: All the images here have a page number, and those are just two examples. So who's betting that for every two pages in the booklet, we are going to have one of these images on one page and lyrics on the other? :wink3: Again, sorry if this has already been discussed, I've been fairly out of the loop for the past few days.

Past Coldplay.com Layouts
Awesome, thanks! I like these old pics of them from 1999: They look like they're on the beach where they were filming Bigger Stronger! Also, its interesting that Parachutes used to be called "Waiting In Line" and there used to a SONG called The Blue Room. I love finding out stuff like that. Thanks again... time to dig a little deeper!

Alternative Violet Hill videoclip on ColdplayTV (Youtube)
Hey, as I said, I wasn't directing it at the people here, just the thread starter (the thread of which is now part of this one). But yeah I agree with your post. Its one of those videos that could become very popular on sites like youtube because its so controversial. It will also gain the band a little more respect, I think. But I can also understand if some people think they are being slightly pretentious with this one. Either way, I think its a very good video. It could have been edited a tiny bit better, but I'm just being picky. Side note - Don't you think its slightly unfair that Barack Obama of ALL politicians should be the one who appears at the "carnival of idiots line?" I know its supposed to encompass all of these people but he seems to be one of the more intelligent if not innocent political figures as far as I'm aware.

Alternative Violet Hill videoclip on ColdplayTV (Youtube)
^Well yes, but only one of them will end up being played on music video channels, and that will most likely be the full band version. This one is probably too controversial for the general public (unfortunately).

Kylie Minogue recorded a track for the new Coldplay album
Hmm interesting. I'm kind of glad it didn't make it onto the album actually, whatever it was. I would rather just hear Coldplay on a Coldplay record, although I don't mind them collaborating with orchestras and 'geniuses' like Eno.
