  1. Oh my, that's a shock.
  2. Hey, just go have fun then - it's a good night to relax and enjoy something entertaining. :) Have some pizza, it's the cure for all blues.
  3. I don't care what you say, I want the ABBA chicks! I do I do I do!! :laugh3: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gzg1WIxn374]ABBA - I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do; SOS; Waterloo - YouTube[/ame]
  4. :sombrero: Ignacio Zargoza Seguin
  5. Oh my goodness. Just don't worry about it, it's just a day, probably created by flower peddlers and chocolate makers!:laugh3:;) Find happiness in not worrying about a day which is irrelevant unless you're in a relationship, and visit family with flowers and gifts. Or go on a blind date! :daisy:
  6. Sounds like a good philosophy to me! :) Cheers and keep on keeping on!;)
  7. Guy Lombardo :P
  8. A couple of challenges then persist. First, they probably play their own instrumentals for their backtracking, which of course requires then to either duplicate themselves using the heart of gold's improbability drive to take them back to the start, or simply record the additional instrumentals right before the performance, hope it's top-notch, and then sing and play along to it. Or add other highly trained professional musicians to do a superb job during the show, which is possible, maybe that's a legit way to go... Secondly, what if someone's voice gives out during a performance, then what? Hm.. well, I suppose they could only then switch to miming, but perhaps that's the case anyways.. I know what Elton John has said, perhaps he is right in most instances, but what the Petshop Boys say seems equally true - if it's complex sounds, one almost needs a studio and just the right take to get the sound sounding great, or else it's sloppy.
  9. This, which includes really good guitar playing starting half-way through. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KWsHMtr12U]Pure Vermont Maple Syrup: Sugarmakers in Action - YouTube[/ame]

  11. No matter who wins, the government always gets in. Amendments are what we need to really work on, otherwise it's a system rigged, and destined for further dysfunction. Vote Buddy Roemer for President! :)
  12. From the planet of floopy mattresses comes the Petaflop equipped CRAY, a baby Deep Thought Machine, capable of planet-sized thinking, but able to fit easily in your industrial sized basement. Cray Inc., The Supercomputer Company
  13. Yeah, that was a sweet tune! :)
  14. I often wonder about artists, they come up with something that means something to them, is hinted at in song, but when asked about it, they make up some silly explanation, so the secret stays with them and just a few who really 'get it'. I suppose that's for the best, keeps the mysteries alive, and there are always many meanings on many levels, triple entendres and such. It's just so funny when someone thinks they've 'solved the mystery'. I think often in the back of our minds are some of the answers, if we just listened to the undercurrents of thought we all have in common..
  15. I still think microwaving the phone is the best option. The microwave oven happily emits microwaves. The phone lovingly receives microwave signals. A match made in heaven! The closer they get, the better the reception. Set it on high for 5 minutes, see what happens! :laugh3:
  16. Reminiscing about the time when Paul was here, how he felt perfectly at home.
  17. Hm, well, that's a plus! But that leaves some odd 100 days + between then and now, so I hope you have a plan for the interim!
  18. On a pragmatic level, if she persists, and the police can only do so much, it might be prudent to have a strategy, all I'm sayin'. Otherwise, live with the risks - your choice! But when she hops out of your closet late one night, don't complain to me!:P
  19. :laugh3: Probably not quite that, but think Watergate complex, think phones, think quick places where devices can be hidden. But definitely keep track of her, these new GPS devices must be pretty small to be tucked away on bikes. Buy an infra-red scanner too, hooked to the computer, just in case you need a thermal image of all the hiding places in the house..
  20. farad, in honor of Faraday
  21. :laugh3: gawd, sounds like a movie script! The stalker! Rated M for mystery... Sounds like she's been at it for a while, good with clues and all that - determined types are amazingly good if they want something so badly. I'd plant a tracking device on her, GPS, small one like they use on bikes. Go on the offensive, be aware of her whereabouts..
  22. 749 Embalm it, dry it, entomb it, then dig it up centuries later, and put it on display! Works for mummies...
  23. NO!!!! YELLLOW!! This is a Coldplay site. :P
