I figure it has something to do with stress, and how we cope with a lot of inputs and emotional events all at once. Trying to make sense of things, and things that make no sense..

Goblins? Short fuzzy ones, or little green ones?? There was that movie about goblins once.. I think it was a Spielberg classic. Anyhow, they were inanimate, except at night (of course) when they went about doing weird things.. Wasn't there a movie about a monster who turned out to be really friendly? Hey, the Christmas classic with the Abominable Snow Monster! That's it!! Well, that's one of them.. at the end, they all have a sing-along..:laugh3: So, maybe that's where you're picking it up? Still, that's hilarious! Singing together at the end, with the monsters:lol:

I'm beginning to think our brains just pull odd stuff out of our day-to-day lives, and use them at random in our dreams.. kinda like Mad Libs for the subconscious or unconscious mind!
