  2. Groundhog's Day was funny too (I miss Bill Murray!).. Well, TV shows - hmm.. What's that one British Comedy with the Bucket woman? Oh, Keeping Up Appearances!! That's the one I like to watch!:laugh3:
  3. Wow, 16,460 posts?!!:stunned: Great to see you back, Albie!!:)
  4. I are confuzzed again! Both Chile and Australia are in the southern hemisphere, so wouldn't that mean March is Autumn down below the line? March is spring in this end of the globe (the month of mush for us wayy up here), but I think it's getting chillier in Chile!:laugh3: ????
  5. HAPPY NEW YEAR ARGENTINA !!!:joker::joker::joker::sunny::sunny::sunny::baby::baby::baby:

  11. :joker: Chile is that far ahead of us?? Have Fun!!!:):joker:
  12. OOPS! Pardon my spelling! Yes, real live & kicking Wallabies!:) You know, if they kick up enough dust, that could trigger precipitation (if conditions are right). I've heard that it did happened during historical battles, where enough dust blew into the sky to promote droplet formation, and rain followed.. Well, at least it beats going without rain for ages!!

Well, some of us are special!:wacky::P But you're so very right - it is hard; but then it's better. Least I think so.. And what instruments do you play, Ms. Emma-Beatrice??:drummer::guitarist::wink::book2:
  14. Do wallaby's do some sort of rain dance, if you ask them politely??:P

Welcome to our Nightmare! Du du du du..:P (Why did Alice Cooper Flash up in my mind???:laugh3:) What are your favorite songs hightech? One thing to be wary of - musack. It sounds similar to the real thing, but it isn't. Sheet music is often made simpler; some things don't translate well to the printed page. Best to play it by ear, and compare the two.. Well, Enjoy & Practice Lots!!
  17. Yes, I think that's a universal problem here. As fuel prices change, I think that will begin to change too.. It's bananas - used to have corner groceries in every neighborhood years ago.. Hmm.. something you didn't know about me..? Let's see - one of my favorite childhood toys was this thing called a spirograph - I used to love doodling all the neat geometric patterns onto paper - it was so neat! I gave it away as a gift to a young girl, and I hope she has as much fun with it as I did!:)
  18. Alright, I'll check out Amy Winehouse, and sip some of this red, red wine:sombrero::joker::mellow:
  19. rusty german... one good night? and good night? Let's see - Dave's into Van Morrison's classics, and Justin's loving the Stone Temple Pilots.. Both excellent, in my humblebee opinion. Wild Horses - girls aloud. Hmm! New to Me!! and this is like?? alread in my mind is Moses by Coldplay. It has that Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald-esque sound to it - pretty neat!
  20. "Grounded for Life":laugh3: Hmm.. the name alone is hillarious! I've last watched Frontline World on their website - does that count?
  21. Amusing. Coldplay's Christmas Jingle keeps bouncing through my head. For a Christmas tune, I was really impressed!!
  22. and see them all in their quaint & colorful native costumes!:laugh3: & I thought lunacy/wildness was limited to only North America - and I was soo wrong!:P Ahh, it's a wonderful, bananas world!!:)
  23. Yea, I do that too in the summer! Nice to just lay on the porch and listen to the world around..:joker::sunny: But this worldwide web really is amazing, Lore; and this forum especially! It's just so neat to communicate with people from all over the globe - when one thinks of it, it's quite the technological leap into an amazing world. I really am awe-struck by what's possible, and grateful for all those who make it possible.:nice: And then we get used to it, and it's just like a well-worn pair of shoes!:laugh3: (oh well - love of the familiar was one of the classic Greek loves - they understood what makes us tick;))
  24. Oh, I see! Yea, that is true - here, it's the opposite! Summer means swimming & hiking & biking & fishing & kite flying & gardening & sailing, etc.. Hey, you must have a park nearby?? What about that? Concerts on the mall? Roller-blading? Dancing? I know - here I sit and give suggestions!:laugh3: I could be out skiing (if the sun wouldn't be setting at 4:15 PM..:dozey:) - plenty to do anywhere, given a little creativity. Or, there's us!:sunny:
