What are you thinking right now?
Current system breaking from its own extremes as we speak. Most harsh responses are directed inwardly, I think a lot of it is to put on a show, mostly to cover for the bosses mistakes. But there are the true believers, the paranoids who think it's effective; but the real matter is to deal with the underlying problems, not just superficial checks and all that, since basically we've let the .01% run things and get us to this point, so it will be a real battle to undue the damage and reinstall people-power. It took the clear and massive failures during the late 60's to engender citizens to rise up, so it seems we are at a moment in time much the same. Yes, the blue meanies like fear and paranoia, gives them a sense of purpose, and what a thrill it is to shock people! I feel like watching the Beatles cartoon right about now... Yellow Submarine suddenly fits our times again!:sunny: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6fTZFIWnYQ]Yellow Submarine part 10 - YouTube[/ame]

What are you thinking right now?
colds make us stronger, build up our body's immune system. No fun tho when we've got one; I recommend green tea with a plum added, and lots of rest;). Ugh yes, all the hassles just to go from place to place, it's really not the answer.. how much of it is done just to justify jobs, I often wonder. So we struggle to regain control of our country here from the monstrosity in power, in the meantime, sorry for the inconvenience and be glad Canada's mounties are polite!

Occupy Wall Street Movement
Well it would serve the interests that are in control to keep the fear going, even if we're not even under a yellow alert. What would Captain Kirk do? It does feel more and more Orwellian these days, and 3 minutes for a test, that is a ridiculously long test. The whole country, a continent across and then some - it seems so unlikely anything that drastic would affect the entire nation; I wonder if it's more of an excuse to keep the agency, and its attendant industries, looking important so they continue to get full funding? Perhaps just in case the citizens rise up, the people that pull the strings want one last tug on their way out of power? What the occupy movement stands for is broader than what anyone can put down on paper, but this from Oakland is illuminating: Remember these four common points that the General Strike Assembly has agreed upon: Solidarity with the world-wide Occupy movement! End police attacks on our communities! Defend Oakland schools and libraries! Against an economic system built on colonialism, inequality and corporate power that perpetuates all forms of oppression and the destruction of the environment! What Occupy Wall Street Is: Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants. This #ows movement empowers real people to create real change from the bottom up. We want to see a general assembly in every backyard, on every street corner because we don't need Wall Street and we don't need politicians to build a better society.

Cowardly Richard Dawkins
I think Dawkins is right, but then God is truth, the Universe connected with strings, and there's ample ways truth keeps revealing itself to us, and our cultural creativity helps along the way. Religion too, when it adds to our compassion for one-another, when it acts as a force for good on earth, when its essence is in comfort and healing. But I disagree with Dawkins on one issue: Dawkins thinks we evolved from fish. Well that's understandable, Dawkins is British, we all know the British love fish and chips, so that seems natural. But for we Americans, it's Amphioxus. :P [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UtHYiXpKh8]It's A Long Way From Amphioxus - YouTube[/ame] :laugh3: We're simply the more primitive primates here.

Grey cover or blue cover?
The cheese miser, I knew it! They say he's hoarding the cheese, but only when the refrigeration is up and running. I would vote for the blue, I always support the Union. :smug:

:stunned: um, ok. :laugh3: Good thing we're no longer accusing people of being witches, and then burning witches at the stake. Sometimes where this country came from is just plain weird. Utrecht is a pretty cool city. Utrecht is the only city I know of with a UFO atop the rail headquarters. Utrecht UFO on the top of the ProRail HQ > V is for Velasquez, Mexico.

The "Relate Everything Back To Coldplay Game"
:laugh3: This is ridiculous, but hilarious. a lion and a unicorn support the UK arms, representing the 1707 Union of England (whose traditional heraldic symbol is the lion) and Scotland, who's heraldic symbol is of course the Unicorn. Since Guy is from Scotland and Chris, Jonny, and Will are from England, this makes sense; they represent a similar union. Blue

I wish I was in Oakland right now, but then again, someone has to be elsewhere, or we'd all be in Oakland! My heart and mind is with the protesters and workers in Oakland.

Green Cars
:laugh3: I believe they used sheep's hair for the fibers, and I haven't a clue what the matrix for this baby is. But I thought about that, yes, how ironic, behind the iron curtain was a car made from soft fuzzy sheep!:) U2's auto of choice actually.. Actung Baby! Ford, before the Ford Prefect (as in Life the Universe and Everything), made a car from soybeans. Yes, the ideal car for bean counters, a truly capitalistic model but it had such a drag coefficient, the economy from the car suffered greatly. :P Fortunately it did rebound when hammered, so not all was lost. Soybean Car - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia But of course, Ford used Hemp:cool: as the fiber in the car, which is only legal in countries where paranoia isn't the principal driving force. Here, a car made entirely of hemp was used in a movie, but I believe, it went up in smoke. :laugh3:
