since i plan on hearing violet hill on the computer for the first time, i will just listen on the computer. The album however, i will listen to in my room with no disruptions. unless i can't wait and start listening in the car

beatles are always awesome- i'd love to hear while my guitar gently weeps. i think thats one of the best beatles songs ever. and there are many other great beatles songs. since you are a female maybe heart, as i think they are the best band with a female vocalist. but i don't know how good your lead guitarist is because their stuff is pretty difficult i believe. those would be my first two suggestions. here are other classic rock bands that i like a lot but i don't no if they are good to cover: the who aerosmith black sabbath boston queen etc. good luck:D

I heard this expression describing the killers. Because obviously they have the sound of a british band despite being from America. What other british american bands are there? I thought of the strokes and jeff buckley, even though he's not a band.

I kind of agree with you. The lounge hasn't been as fun as it once was. The coldplay section has been the heart of the forum lately. BUT. It is a forum for random talk, so technically its ok.
