Pffffffff I want Muse opening in Gelsenkirchen too, because I just bought tickets for that show this morning. Omg, it would be brilliant.........................

Exactly, those are the work titles: "Untitled #1 (Vaka)" (6:38) "Untitled #2 (Fyrsta)" (7:33) "Untitled #3 (Samskeyti)" (6:33) "Untitled #4 (Njósnavélin)" (7:33) "Untitled #5 (Álafoss)" (9:53) "Untitled #6 (E-Bow)" (8:48) "Untitled #7 (Dauðalagið)" (13:00) "Untitled #8 (Popplagið)" (11:45) :) And I've been so lucky to have seen them 3 times last year. The first time was at Rock Werchter, but I only knew Ágætis Byrjun a little bit. It was amazing, they blew me away. Since then I bought all their albums in like 1,5 month time. Then I saw them on a dutch festival Lowlands, which was the magical experience I talked about before. Wonderfull. Last november they played in Amsterdam and I went there, but then I got a phonecall, there was a complication with my sisters surgery. So I couldn't enjoy the concert so much and left after 6 songs. I wasn't able to listen to Sigur Rós for a few months, because now their music connected me to that stupid day of my sisters surgery. Now I'm at a point I can enjoy it again, and I'm glad, because it's such a special band with great music. @ Gilda: Go listen to their music, very fast! You won't regret it :)

I think the day doesn't matter, because last year they also just spend the fridaynight. So I don't think it's really a problem. Maybe it depends on which campsite you want to stay, because we were on A6, which is a 25 minutes walk from the festival ground, so there was plenty of space for some more people. :)

Hmm, on second thoughts.. It might as well be true. Never mind :D

@ ARoz018: Are you sure that is a real one? How do you know these autographs are real? They don't seem familiar to me:P (I have a setlist with all their autographs on it, which they signed when I was standing a few inches away from them :P )

I don't think you have to buy a camping ticket in advance. I was there last year, with a whole group of people of a dutch coldplayfans forum. Two of them were there for one day, but stayed at our camp site at night as well. They just payed the price of a camping ticket at the entrance of the camp site. It's like 20 euro's or something, I believe? So I think you can do that as well..?

Sigur Rós is the first band that managed to make me cry in a concert, because it was so magical... I can't even describe it. (L)

When you start to pay attention to the fact that every time you see your friends, at least one conversation is about Coldplay, and you realize that because you think about this topic :P

@ Briggins: Uhm..I think something went wrong, because I made a mixtape with 21 (!) songs (and even 2 extra songs because I couldn't choose:embarassed::rolleyes:) And I'm not sure what songs you did receive, so it's gonna be a puzzle for me to see what songs you díd receive :P So I hope you have a little patience ;)

Okay, it took me some time, but here is my review! :) Nr. 1 The first time I heard this song, I didn’t really know what to think of it..but after the 2nd time I think it’s great!! I don’t really know how to describe it, but it seems like a soundtrack for some movie to me! I’m very curious to what this is. Even my father likes this one, hihi! He heard this song and wants to hear it every day, telling me “have you finished your review already? Because I want to know what this is!” :P And so do I! :D Nr.2 Piano and a strange sound (guitars?) in the background which reminds me slightly of Sigur Rós in the beginning. The voice of the singer is quite unusual, because he sings in a sort of ‘screaming’ way, but I like it! I really like this song too, especially because it’s alternating, especially near the end, when the woman’s voice, and later the children, comes in. I wonder what artist this is! “Do you care about this, more than anyone else?” Wauw, this is beautiful! Nr.3 Ahh, this song..it’s magical! I don’t know what it is, but the first time I heard it, I was immediately in a sort of trance.. Sounds strange maybe, but I think this is really really great! It gives me Goosebumps! And the strange thing is, that the song seems to have this effect on everybody. Everybody being my parents here! They heard it and they loved it too! It doesn’t happen a lot that a song strikes you like this with the first time. I like the voice of the singer, although it seems quite familiar.. and I love the short silence around 3.36, and then *bam!* here we go again! Really good! Now pleaaaase tell me what it is! :P (Again, my dad wants to know what this is too, hihi!) Nr.4 Okay, this song is slightly different than the rest until now. Guitar and a violin comes in, pretty slow song, woman singing. Hmm, I don’t really know what to think of this song. I don’t dislike it, but I don’t find it very special either. Just a nice song for in the background I guess. Nr.5 The song starts with clapping hands, cheerful! “Farewell my black balloon!” I like this song, it’s quite repetitive in a way, but it’s nice. Nr.6 This beginning sounds familiar, although I’m sure I haven’t heard this song before. Pretty uncommon voice, I like it. The song is ‘just nice’, but then after 3 minutes it builds up to something ‘harder’, I like this! Nr.7 Piano..and this voice! In the beginning it’s a little bit like David Bowie, although sometimes it slightly reminds me of Eddie Vedder too. But I like his voice! This song is beautiful, I like it very much! I would like to hear more of this artist. Nr.8 Yaaay, an accent! I love accents in English! :D This is some Scottish or Irish accent I guess? I like it hihi! The song is great too, it builds up to a great climax! I wonder what this is.. :) Nr.9 When this song starts I’m not sure if I will like it, the first “singing” part is not really my style I guess. But then it continues and the actual singing starts and it’s not that bad at all. Actually this is a pretty relaxing song, nice to listen to. Nr.10 When I first heard the trumpets starting I was thinking: Beirut! Then the rest of the music comes in and I’m thinking: yeah..this must be Beirut! Zach starts singing and it’s clear that this is indeed Beirut. (Oooh, wouldn’t I feel stupid now when it turns out to be something else?) I really like Beirut, although I only have The Flying Club Cup. I still have to give a listen to his first album, and now is a good opportunity. Is this song from his first album, or from some EP? Nr.11: White Lies – A Place To Hide White Lies! Nice band! I’ve seen them a month ago in a CD store here in Holland, where they gave a performance for free. It was very nice, they are good. I like his voice, he can sing both high and low very good! Nr.12 This intro sounds quite familiar to me, but when the song continues I discover I haven’t heard it before. I’m not sure what to think of this song, I like it, it’s just nice, but I don’t think I would want to listen to a whole album of this artist. I’m not very fond of the voice. Nr.13 Quite long intro which builds up slowly. This sound makes me think a little bit about Arcade Fire, with a couple of voices singing together and all. I’m wondering what the rest of an album of this artist would be like. Nr.14 This song is instrumental, it starts pretty slowly but builds up into a nice tempo, with trumpets and guitars. I like this song. Nr.15: The Arcade Fire - Lenin And there they are..the real, the one and only Arcade Fire! Yay! :cool: This is Lenin! Arcade Fire is one of my “Great Four” as I call them in my head, my most favorite bands. (+Coldplay, Muse, Sigur Rós) So this is a perfect end to a very nice mixtape! I really enjoyed this mixtape, and there were only just two songs that I already knew, so great job! I’m most interested in songs 1 and 3, and 7 and 8! Especially 1 and 3 are very good! So thank you mixtaper, for sending me a great mixtape! :cool::)

Yes, this was funny! :D Jonathan mentioned something about Clive Owen, I think? That he preferred Coldplay over U2, and then he mumbled "don't we all.." :laugh3: And @ Lovers In Japan: Yes, the add for the 9/10 sept. concerts are on tv very often, every time I hear it I rush to the tv to watch it hihi! :) ( because most of the time I'm sitting here behind the computer and my dad's watching tv so I hear it)
