  1. Are you guys serious? this new one is horrible compared to the original, it's so much more powerful as an instrumental. and the lyrics are blah. plus, seriously, there can only be so many versions of this song. LiT, The Escapist, LiT II, and the chorus reprise in Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground. Oh, and I suppose one could sort of count "Light Through the Veins" as well. god.
  2. Actually LiT wasn't written by Coldplay, it was written by John Hopkins, but he wrote it for them. So it's not like they're just ripping a song. And The Escapist is apparently a "collaboration" between Hopkins and Coldplay, and them being the same song just kinda shows that Hopkins did the songs with / for Coldplay. But they didn't write them. Hope that clears things up :)
  3. Saw them live recently, really good show. Openers The Morning Benders were cool to.
  4. Eh, that was pretty bad. I thought Chris's voice was just blah (but as many of you said, first live performance in a while) and I was hoping that for this song they'd do something more creative than just use backing tracks for the strings and what not. And haha yeah, that confetti was poorly done as well. They performed well though, fun to watch.
  5. If anyone needs extra guitar parts recorded, I'm your guy.
  6. OMG this vid kicks ass.
  7. I orgamsed when I saw this. True story.
  8. That must be a joke! That's an incredibly good list!
  9. it's interesting, and considering "42" is a possible song name.... however not very creative... lol, then again, we got "X and Y". They need to work on their album names if 42 is the title....
  10. Wow, this is intense, Snow Patrol and Arcade Fire seem 'bout equal! Arcade Fire Radiohead
  11. 1 Death Cab For Cutie vs. Arcade Fire 2 Blur vs. Snow Patrol 3 Radiohead vs. The Beatles 4 Sigur Rós vs. Keane I don't like this 'un! Arcade Fire is murdering Death Cab, but I think Death Cab's a ton better, despite the fact that "Wake Up" is my theme song :)! Snow Patrol is easy for me... I'm only going for The Beatles 'cause I dislike Radiohead. I wanted U2 to beat them, U2 is definitely better, so are The Beatles. I don't listen to Sigur Ros, so Keane I guess...
  12. 1 Oasis vs. Arcade Fire 2 The Beatles vs. Muse 3 Bright Eyes vs. Death Cab For Cutie 4 Keane vs. Arctic Monkeys 6 Sigur Rós vs. Red Hot Chili Peppers 7 Snow Patrol vs. The strokes 8 U2 vs. Radiohead Death Cab easily beats Bright Eyes... I kinda really don't like his music. Arctic Monkeys no contest... Keane is good but they easily get reptetive. The Chili Peppers are my second favorite band of all time... U2's my first!
