The last thing I bought was my VLV pre-order on iTunes to get the bonus tracks and I'll probably buy the physical CD too when it comes out. I'm also working on collecting all the Bob Dylan Bootleg Series. But currently I'm thinking about picking up the new Death Cab stuff, any opinions? RollingStone thought pretty highly of it...

Well actually I enjoyed the political one more, the music goes well with the outrageous footage. And they throw in some random clips of the original VH video which fit quite nicely. For me its which one is more enjoyable, and in this case the political one keeps me entertained. Not that Coldplay doesn't entertain me :P but if I had the choice to watch either of those videos WITHOUT the music playing (granted, thats a little weird since the original actually has the band "performing") then why wouldn't I chose the hilarious montage of world leaders dancing and acting like idiots? Its just more visually entertaining... But I still love me some Violet Hill :nice:

19 from Cincinnati, OH I love music and movies. I've been a Coldplay fan since late after Parachutes but I REALLY started doing the drug called Coldplay after the first time I heard The Scientist. I've wanted to be a sound engineer since early high school and I start interning at a Cincinnati studio in the fall. I hope to make my way down to Nashville some day, and if the stars are aligned and the sun is revolving around the Earth then hopefully I'll get a chance to work with my favorite band :)... I also have a rare disease called videogame-itis and I work at GameStop. I teach myself guitar and piano and I enjoy all kinds of music... when I'm not listening to Coldplay that is ;)

Very good point, they wouldn't necessarily be "copying" them but its definitely possible that we could see the b-sides become an album in the near future.
