Indeed, Lil Wayne's up there because he probably made a better rap album to the rap genre then what Coldplay did with the rock genre.

What worriest me is how this will hamper the song's chances of getting the Grammy awards. Voters dont usually vote for the song that has garnered controversy and plagiarism accusations. If VLV won the award it would probably garner even more accusations, and make the voters look bad, which i'm sure they'll definitely give up quality to please the masses

I dont believe thats true, but I can see your point. Songs Violet Hill and Yes quite prominently feature Guy. As for the other albums, I think Guy really has some potential to become more complex, like GPASUYF and Everythings Not Lost are good examples of Guy's bass abilities.

I have to admit, I was not a fan of the song when hearing it on the album but after seeing it live, it has to be the best song in the album (imo)

I know this is saying a lot since there are so many other great songs on the album (Yes) but I really do this is the most underrated song on the album. After we listened to it non-stop when they gave it out for free, i stopped listening to it for a long while, but after listening to it live in amsterdam, I have to say this is one of the best songs on the album. oh wow, I love Alan Cross and that show, i always put on the edge and listen to it. I know he made a few specials about Coldplay in the ongoing history of new music, i know one during AROBTTH and another one when x and y was released.

I loved Lost!, it was great to know that they could pull it off live. On the album it was more distracting and noisy then this live one, but I was sad I couldn't hear Jonny's guitar solo that well.

Well Lil Wayne is a rap album, Coldplay is a rock album. You can't compare those two, lol Maybe Lil wayne's album is great in terms of a rap perspective
