Uni, its a great place...teaches you so much...i punched a hole in a door cos of a girl at uni :D Claimed later when uni Accomodation came round to inspect that id tried to open the door while carrying my TV and the door was shut, so the corner of the TV went into the door.... they believed me :) But unrequited love, esp when there's someone else (who is oh so nice) that draws the attention away from you is annoying...

I agree with everything Rich said :) Human nature is always to want what you can't have...and sadly when you have it, you take it for granted...how many relationships have you seen where one partner treats the other like crap, and you think, "I'd treat them so much better" because you're single and looking for love. I learnt that mistake the hard way...don't intend to do it again with Jessy :)

ive never tricked or treated in my life parents wouldnt let me devout catholics....they see the halowe'en that is celebrated as pagan...made me dress as a monk at a friends halowe'en birthday party...pretended I was a headless monk mwhahah sad thing tho, in todays society, it takes a very irresponsible parent to let their child roam the streets at night knocking on strangers doors begging...just asking for trouble.

Tom, from personal experience after having an 18 month relationship end....no matter how much you think you can't imagine life without her in it in some form, you need time space and distance apart. I broke up with my ex, and we said we'd be friends, i still wanted more, and so to begin with it was hard being friends, then she met someone else...I couldnt cope with this and it became why him, why not me...we argued, rowed...and then never spoke for 7 months...after those 7 months, she contacted me, we spoke gradually, and the friendship reformed...without the bitterness of before, I'd moved on, i didn't care about her that way anymore... But to be friends straight away? That's impossible, you need to just cut her out...like you say, how will you cope being friends when she meets someone else...unless you are truely over her, you wont cope, trust me..it will hurt like hell :( Eventually though, it will be good, but you need to move on...get closure as they say... You may think this is all shite, but this is a poll, thus my opinion :) Btw I voted yes to you can be friends..afterall I managed to, but its very hard to do it right away. Hope that helps some.

UK get on average 20 days holiday a year...plus new years day, good friday, easter monday, 2 may bank holidays, an august bank holiday and christmas day and boxing day...so 28 days off a year on average...wow a whole month thats cool
