Yeah, also, tabnabber.com is also supposed to have a guitar-piano tab translater.

Guitar chords/tabs to Piano
Maybe try an online piano chord finder. 8notes.com has one.

Yamaha GT20
Yeah...it seems like a different, maybe european release of the YPG 625. They look the same anyway. and if it is anything like the one I got for my birthday, it'll be all you could ever want short of live stage performances...as far as the GT20 goes. I looked into that sometime ago, and there is nothing on the yamaha websites about it, although I've seen it advertised by some online retailers.

Swallowed in the sea glastonbury 2005
Oh. one last thing. Technically one does exist. The japan acoustic session has a very nice version. but it, obviously is entirely acoustic and done in a little recording room. I guess I'm mainly curious about glastonbury.

Swallowed in the sea glastonbury 2005
Okay, so in my spare time online I am somewhat of a (coldplay inspired)you-tube addict. Last year I realized how many videos of coldplay playing live there were on you-tube and alas...I've seen a disgustingly vast amount of live coldplay performance vids. While going through segments of glastonbury 2005, I noticed on the setlist from easytoplease.net that they supposedly played "swallowed in the sea" after clocks, right before the encore. To my knowledge there is a you-tube video for every song in that concert EXCEPT swallowed in the sea. Furthermore, I have so far been unsuccessful in finding any decent-quality footage of coldplay performing this song live (despite it being a frequent part of their set list). Swallowed in the sea is part of a small list of album songs that don't seem to correspond with a professional live video (list consists of we never change, a whisper [which doesn't count because it was never on any set list], the hardest part[i think it's only ever been played live once] and twisted logic [never been on a setlist]). So I guess my questions are A. Was swallowed in the sea played during glastonbury '05? and B. Does anyone know where one could find T.V quality footage of it or any other rarely played album track played live? Thanks.

I used to love Coldplay but now I don't
Au contraire, I think they have developed and changed considerably through the albums. A rush of blood to the head had a completely different sound and vibe from parachutes as did X&Y to AROBTTH. If someone who'd never heard of coldplay were to listen to square one after something like sparks or we never change, they would never guess they were the same band. I mean. who would've expected them to produce a song like politik to open up for coldplay at glastonbury 2002? In fact their albums (and the songs within them) are diversified enough to the point where it's very difficult to pinpoint a "coldplay-esque " sound per se. For instance. If you heard a brand new coldplay song on the radio today I don't think you'd recognise it if it weren't for Chris's vocals. Now, it's a pretty expensive order , I think, to hope for a radiohead-esque experimentalism out of coldplay. Because frankly for any other band to pull out a Kid A after something like OK computer is sheer insanity.

Complete Clocks Tab: Jonny's Part
I've never tabbed anything before. But I have the book, and his part is simple enough to where I might give it a go. I'll be busy today and tomorrow though...hopefully someone will beat me to it.

I used to love Coldplay but now I don't
I think starskay has it pretty much right. but I'm still somewhat confused. I'm a big fan of radiohead as well...but I don't see how that alone should cause you to dismiss coldplay. I guess what I'm looking for is..."Do you think radiohead and these other bands overshadow coldplay to the point where you don't think coldplay is nearly as good as you once thought? Do you like coldplay less because you've been exploring radiohead and these other bands, or is there something that's changed about coldplay themselves that's caused this switch of heart?"

Life is for living - Live Version
It's a shame as I can never access tabs/sheet people post using a link to something like rapidshare. Half the time I'll see a new post saying "Complete sheet for blah blah blah" and I'll be like "Awesome!" and then when I click on it I see the link and..."Damn!"

Yeah, really. we shouldn't have to ask why...

NEW STARS ON COLDPLAY.COM
Let me quickly add that my favorite performance of square one was Jools Holland 2005. Chris never left his piano and everything was absolutely spot on. Vocals especially. When Chris runs around he gets out of breath and things get very sketchy. But during Jools Holland he hits the "are...are...are!" high notes perfectly.

COLDPLAY SONGS YOU SKIP??
The only one's I've found myself skipping sometimes are "a whisper", "what if", and sometimes 'a message'. I think that's it. (maybe fix you also).

NEW STARS ON COLDPLAY.COM
I remember stumbling across that performance at the brits on you-tube(never found it again). It was really solid, they had the coolest explosion effects in the backscreen that looked 3-d.

Will LP4 be bigger than X&Y?
Lol. It means E(energy) equals M(mass) times C(the speed of light) squared. It means a bunch of things. read into it if you like.

What Else Do You Hear In the Coldplay Songs
Your right! It wasn't until I read the interview with the producer of parachutes that I found out they even had that pump organ(I knew about the organ in life is for living, but I just thought they brought in some accordionist). It really contributes a nice subtle atmosphere to the mix. perhaps it's a key ingredient to the truly unique sound of the album.

your favorite live performance
Live 2003. hands down.

Have coldplay ever done drugs?
I don't think so. Numero uno: they always exaggerate the status of his marriage to Gwyneth. I heard Chris and her basically made a deal not go out together to big events and such that would attract loads of media. And because of this all the press are saying is that their marriage is decaying merely because they haven't been able to catch them together. But the media is always very fast to exaggerate and jump to conclusions. 2nd, Building an album has always been a lot of stressful work.. for coldplay and every other artist out their. I don't think this particular album is any more stressful than the last couple. 3rd, I have a completely different outlook on "leftrightleftrightleft" I think it's a reference to the army marching chant that follows the title. I expect it will be a politically driven song wihc makes me a tad nervous. I hate mixing politics and music. Anyway, there is a song called poppy fields but I'm not about to assume that Chris is on opium either. He's a vegetarian and a non-alcoholic...and although it is possible, the idea of Chris being a pothead doesn't seem very likely to me.

What Else Do You Hear In the Coldplay Songs
Last night I was lietening to the blue room version of don't panic and right at the start you can hear somebody say "rolling".

4th Album - Album Title
Well I'm throughly convinced the title will be called "42". Along with everything the article mentioned. 1.There were supposedly exactly 42 songs that were made candidates for, or originally missed the cut for X&Y. 2. Coldplay has always had a "title track" in their album, if you will look back at the tracks parachutes, a rush of blood to the head and X&Y(I believe most of those tracks were named after their decided album title and not the other way around). 3. It's probably the only announced track that wouldn't sound downright stupid as an album title. By dint of X&Y's minimalistic yet contemplative and suggestive name "42" works in perfectly.(better than "Yes!" anyway)

Careful Where You Stand
I've gone through a bunch of set lists. and I can't find one instance where they played any of those b-sides live.

What Else Do You Hear In the Coldplay Songs
If you mean the "oooh!" in square one. then yes. I also noticed the voice in we never change. Towards the end I like to turn the volume up a tad to try to understand it (I never can), somehow that makes the song a little bit more intimate. Let me think what else I've noticed....in yellow(parachutes version) I get the suspicion that during the chorus(and maybe some other parts too) there's a piano accompaniment going on. I know that Jonny plays the high guitar bits during that(with a hint of vibrato), and I could be dead wrong but that's just something I've noticed. umm...easy to please is one song that, the more closely I listened, the more I discovered. first there's the distant sound of an argument or something going on. You keep turning the volume to understand the words(you can only catch one or two) but it's drowned out by the sound of passing cars and other sounds like in radiohead's bullet proof...I wish I was. After the first chorus it comes back again(right before the piano). and then, starting somewhere around the last chorus(it took me awhile to nitce this) there's what seems like a distant t.v with a newsman talking. I think the only word I could catch was "nashville" as in tennessee.

nice Radiohead piano sheet
I know. they are exclusively tab websites. I prefer sheet music as well, but I don't have access to any for radiohead. Just giving what I can.

nice Radiohead piano sheet
You could try tabnabber.com or pianotabs.net if you're cheap (like me). It's often hit or miss... but some, like the one for "videotape" are spot on or close enough. Also try greenplastic.com...if you click on song lyrics, they have tabs for most of the songs including accurate piano tabs for "how I made my millions".

Guess the song!
I think I stopped the wheels with that last correction let me start her up again. "...I'm waking up!..."
