There were photos of shirtless Will from the South American tour in 2007. JB is the only one to as yet not be photographed shirtless as far as I know. However, seeing as how he won't even remove his hat these days, a shirt may well be out of the question.:P

You have a better chance of getting their attention if you call them by name. The three main backline techs are Hoppy, Matt and Bash, they are usually the ones who give out stuff to fans. There are pictures of all the main crew in the roadies thread, if you want to indentify them before you go.

Will's not actually much of a stick breaker, or a stick thrower either. I think the VLV mallets break a lot more though, you can see him break the mallets in a lot of live clips.

Be careful with that, a lot of what comes up is not official merch. Not saying some bootleg stuff isn't cool, but if you want the official stuff, be careful not to get pawned off on something that isn't legit.:)

Short of buying on the secondary market, or at concerts, I'm affraid it's your only option to get authentic merch.:\

Yes, but the rumored dates have been floating around for a long time now with no official confirmation. I really hope everyone who wants to see them gets a chance, but I'm still not convinced there's any credible reason to think they'll definately play South America, Asia, Eastern Europe, or anywhere else next year. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:smug:

True, but there's still the issue of B-Sides being less common generally these days, largely for reasons that bands typically have little to no control over. While they're still signed to EMI, Coldplay don't have final say over things like that, so it may not even have anything to do with them.

I'm less sure of that as time goes on. There were "confirmed" rumors from some promoter several months ago, but it never came to anything. I'm pretty much convinced at this point that they'll play out this year's dates and that will be it.

Yes, his Teles are a mix of vintage 70's ones and a few reissues, but we're talking about his Strats here.

I'd think it unlikely that it's an actual vintage strat from the 60's. Strats that old are notoriously tempermental, and many pro players consider them totally unpractical as live day to day touring insturments. It could well be a reissue or even a custom shop model though.
