ummm i beg to differ... A TON. this isn't like BEST BANDS...its favorite bands of all time. and for me... the shins are without a doubt more of a favorite band than REM. and i could see you make the argument with like the fray... but whyd you have to pick on my shins :P

literally there are 0 standout songs for me. it's depressing... i keep listening to it hoping one will pop out at me and none of them never do. they are all so damn boring. for me it comes no where NEAR plans/transatlanticism. ugggh.

we'll probably have the vinyl rip tomorrow.

thank you. i feel like i'm always the one saying it but i dont want to seem like a jerk so i held back this time. i'm so sick of the amount of threads these two new songs have led to.

it's just a b-side... nothing to get upset about. i'm pretty impartial... i don't love it but i don't think it's bad at all.

AHH YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THEM. they are so good. their lyrics are some of the best out there. also one of the best concerts ive been to... loooooove them.

it's pretty good. i'm not blown away but is IS only a b-side. however i'm a bit concerned about how both two songs are under 4 minutes (this one isnt even 3!)... im hoping this trend doesnt continue throughout the entire album :\

i think it was a bad move releasing i will posess your heart as the first single... i think it might be the most quality song on the album and DEFINATELY less boring than everything else on it. i had such high hopes for this album after hearing IWPYH but the rest of the album just doesnt meet the same level of quality. i know at first i was posting that this album was very good but i was just being effected by the excitement of having a new album by one of my top 5 favorite bands. after many listens i'm severely disappointed. (the album isn't BAD at all just no where near plans/transatlanticism and nothing special at all)

i didn't notice before that you changed the pictures to coldplay!! 10!

you could have posted in the 'death cab for cutie!' thread... we're talking about it there too. :) but after a few listens id have to agree... i'm actually not a huge fan. it's kind of boring and there aren't really any standout songs to me. maybe it will grow on me like photo album did... i hope so.

haha wow it completley dominated on the last.fm charts this week. thats crazy. imagin when the whole album is out....

i'm getting excited for this. a new week and another new coldplay song!! hopefully it will definately be up here on tuesday... i need something to get keep me optimistic this week. i hope this is longer than VH though...

i hope you would never consider buying it from walmart anyway!!!! i refuse to ever by anything from that awful company. but ON TOPIC... i don't think im going to pre-order it. it will be exciting goinh to the record store and buying it... plus i need to know i will definately have it ON the day it comes out!

arg thats because i have the forum on 'dark' mode so on mine it looks good. i didnt even think about the differnt color settings here... hmm. ill give you an 8... haha it goes up everytime i rate it!
