VLV Latin American Tour rumors here!!
Si, hoy confirmaron Lima para el 19 de Nov. El local tiene capacidad máxima para 30 mil. asi que creo que queda descartado un festival junto a Coldplay. Well, now that The Killers have confirmed. IT'S COLDPLAY'S TURN! :D

One thing you don't like about Coldplay?
1. Someone said that they are too popular. Agree with that. 2. They always left Latin America at the end. When they have made almost more than 100 shows around the world. 3. Fix You. Hate that song.

VLV Latin American Tour rumors here!!
check this out: http://conciertosperu.com.pe/internacional/2009/se-viene-un-gran-concierto-pronto-se-descubrira/ (is in spanish) There's a lot of speculation here about what band (or bands) is the article talking about. At the beginning I thought it was AC/DC. But yesterday the guy that manages the company that did the REM/Travis, Iron Maiden and Oasis concerts said that it was very unlikely we have AC/DC here. So, could this article be refering to the Coldplay+The Killers rumor?

VLV Latin American Tour rumors here!!
Here we have the same situation. The National Stadium (50 000) is going to be remodelled and it won't be able for any use until next year. And, like Chile's case, the other venues are too small for an expensive band like Coldplay. This is killing me, finally mi favorite bands are coming (well, almost all, Radiohead ignored us :() and the government decides to close the only place that could make a Coldplay concert profitable.

too many shows
Totally agree with you. And yes, they should announce soon Latin American dates. The last I heard its that they'll probably come in January/February 2010 :\

How Far The "VIVA" era has come...
ohhh the good old days before Viva La Vida. I remember refusing to listen to the leaked album until the official release, but then they uploaded all the album on their My Space and I couldn't resist the temptation.
