If I tould you how many times I heard things like that...specially from Heavy Metal fans (most intolerant fans of the world) and Radiohead fans, that's a shame cuz I really like Radiohead, they're my 2nd favorite band but all I hear from their fans is things that I'm sick of, like "Coldplay wants to be Radiohead but they are too POP to do that". It's not a mystery to Coldplay fans that there're a LOT of people that can't stand them. Actually, that's a good thing, we're just fine without them ;)

TOTALLY AGREE! Maybe Coldplay has changed their sound to something more "pop" if you wanna say it, but its still brilliant and thats what matters! Eventhought, my favorite album stills being AROBTTH. There's something about it that I cannot explain, I just love it (even A Whisper, probably the most hated song by coldplayers along with The Hardest Part). PD: I also have to agree with the person that said that the acoustic versions of Lost and Lovers in Japan are better than the album ones.

this is so funny! I have read like 3 different interpretations of what "the wink" meant. LOL. I think it didn't meant: "you know you're better than Radiohead". Cuz even Chris says they're one of his biggest influences. Probably the wink meant: "Enjoy your favorite band live" ;) Probably because he can barely go tto Radiohead's gigs due to touring and been part of one of the greatest bands of our time.

Don't forget that the US people who only hears to mainstream music is gonna enjoy some Thom's dirty dancing ;)

So I'm a huge Coldplay fan, but I admit that In Rainbows is a better album than VLVODAAHF. But I don't think the Academy will recognize an album that have such a controversial realease. So it's almost sure than Plant and Krauss win it. But I won't be surprised if Lil Wayne "steals" it.

Glass of Water would have been another good choice, but we now have to stand Jay-Z's voice over Jonny's riff.

Radiohead will perform 15 Step aparentely. They're using that marching band due to two of their members (Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway) won't be on the ceremony tomorrow night. On the other hand, I'm kind of disappointed, I wanted to hear LIT II :\

at least you guys got a couple of weeks. Here we have to actually pray so the Tour Manager remember us (Latin America fans). I hope this Monday Peru is announced, there's maybe 10 or 15 % of posibilities. Argentina, Brazil and Chile are always considered when any big band come this region.

I'm so disappointed too. I was really hoping for some Latin American dates. I have never seen them live, it's about time before they stop performing songs from Parachutes or ARROBTTH.

They will probably perform the song they are nominated for, House of Cards. But I'm really hoping some Weird Fishes/Arpeggi. And if there has to be some Thom's dance, 15 Step has to be the chosen!

I have a feeling that they would do the same of 2002, sing a non-single song from the album, maybe it would 42 or Strawberry Swing. And if it has to be a single, I would love they play Life in Technicolor II ;)

really? I've heard it's a bad movie but if they have that soundtrack at least the guy in charge of it really has good taste

yeah I know, but Coldplay if one of the biggest bands of the world. We couldn't get dates on the Radiohead's an Keane's tours so it's very difficult they come but not imposible:)
