I think this isn't the final version anyway. Sounds like one of the many demos they did. The one thing I don't like are the vocals over the previous instrumental part. I like the build-up in the other version but honestly I'll take it. So anybody else see that Heaven was played on NRJ Norway radio station? No one knows how or why, but it has been played a few times per day over the past 6 days. I think thats always a possibility but I really don't think it's likely with this. From the sounds of it, they worked really hard on this, especially Mat Whitecross. So I don't think they would just scrap it, but once again as you said... it's always a possibility. Time will tell but if we honestly don't get any sort of announcement or teaser this month, than I think it's safe to say we are further off then we thought. It really could end up being November 2018 lol. At this point I've gone on from hoping for an announcement every week to having it not even be a thought. So once it's announced, it will come as a surprise to me. I think it's better when you look at things this way as it won't consume your mind and your life. Welcome! Great post! I think that's something a lot of people don't realize about Coldplay/Chris. They genuinely are nice people who want to have this positive effect on the world. I love Chris's optimism and general love of life. It gives me a lot of hope. And better late than never! You've actually joined at a good time, as we are awaiting the announcement of the AHFOD Live album/DVD, so exciting times! I myself became a small fan just after X&Y released and quickly built up to being a massive fan while in the hype for their fourth album. So although we have a wait ahead of us for some new music, it will be a good time. The build-up to a new era is one of the best things. The rumors, the speculation, the teasers, checking this forum constantly for any sort of news... Oh man it's always a blast on here. It was pretty cool! However I don't think they are doing it anymore :/ I will say too that I wished the visuals went a little better with the music. Other than that it was cool. Let the song die already. It's aggravating as well because I know people out there have the demo. That woule be something at least. Also I understand that we should respect Tim's wishes, and if he never wanted to release the song than so be it, but it would be such an amazing tribute to him. I think it would do really well if it were to be released. They could even donate some, if not all, of the proceeds to a charity or something in his name. I don't mean to come off as a jerk or inconsiderate, but it's just such an amazing song and I think it deserves to be heard. I think it holds so much more meaning now as well. Very well put. Chris most certainly is very respectful and a bit more private. And that's actually a really good idea. If they released it and put all or some proceeds to a charity in Avicii's name, that would be awesome. Maybe it will see a release one day. I have been dying for a full release since March 2015 and I never want to say never, but I don't think we'll see any sort of release at this point.
