I always get notifications from Twitter when someone favorites a tweet from Coldplay and my stomach always drops cause I think it's announcement or something. Of course it never is lol. But one of these times it will be.

Despite any rumors, I feel that something big is gonna drop soon! Whether it's a single or the entire album, who knows?

That is indeed the hardest part! Although I remember waiting and waiting for Ghost Stories last spring and now here we are more than a year later, waiting for AHFOD. Its crazy how time flies after you have what you have been waiting for. Before you know it we will be talking about LP8 and we will all be reminiscing about waiting for LP7. But at this moment time is dragging on and on and on Lol.

Another great point. Just cause they have a lot of pop oriented stuff under their belt doesn't necessarily mean they will fill AHFOD with it. And ultimately its up to Coldplay what they want for a sound. If they want pop, then we will get pop. And if it's pop, why not bring in some people with pop experience. Anyway, no one really knows what we are in for. We will just have to wait and see. [emoji1]

Very well put. I am thinking they are only on for some of the heavier pop songs and singles as well. I am hoping for a good balance between pop and alternative rock, but we will wait and see.

I think it will be one of two things. Either they are a lot further along with the album than we think, and will announce a September release, and surprise us all. Or as stated above, they will play a few new songs and then release late fall or early spring. I personally hope it's the first one. I would love to hear the album in its entirety without hearing songs live first.

It definitely was comparable to their other show openers. It wasn't super upbeat like HLH but it was still great.

Oh it was so epic! I actually woke up and remembered everything right away but I stupidly went back to sleep forgetting everything. I guess I should have hummed it and recorded it haha.

Oh man, I had a dream last night that they uploaded a video of them live at BBC or something like that. I thought maybe it was something from an older era but it was new. The first song was new and was called "Colorful Universe". It sounded like classic Coldplay with Will on his regular drum kit. The only lyrics I can remember is something about a tornado hitting the ground. That doesn't sound very good when I say it, but it sounded awesome the way Chris said it. It seemed so real and I was pretty disappointed when I woke up lol.

It sounded pretty good to me for unfinished. I hope we will hear a studio version one day, even if it is only 2 mins long. Until then, I will have the live versions on repeat lol.

That sounds awesome, but I really hope that the song is much longer. I'm hoping he is just playing parts of it for now.

Just watched the 3rd episode. I wasn't too sure how this show would do, but so far I am blown away. Its great!

Hello all. With the Ghost Stories era being officially over, I thought I would post an animation I did for Ghost Stories. It is the final project for my animation class. We were able to animate anything we want, so I thought it would be cool and fitting to animate the Ghost Stories album cover. We had to make it one minute long and add sound to it, so I made a one minute version of ASFOS and animated everything to that. I separated the sky, stars, ocean, and the wings in order to create it. It's nothing too crazy and is not nearly as good as the iTunes animation by Trunk, but I thought I would share it with everybody as a nice send off to the Ghost Stories era. Thank you and bring on the next era! :gs:

That would be awesome! I honestly see them being together for longer than that! At least I hope they are! I feel like they all know what they have is special and they know the chemistry they have is special. They would never do anything to mess with that. They all love what they do and wouldn't want to be doing anything else.
