Here ya go for anyone thats interested in another gushers opinion... LIT - 8.5 COL - 9.5 Lost? - 9.5 Much better stripped down. This is more about the lyrics for me Lost! - 7.5 42 - 8.5 this one grew on me big time today... LIJ Accoustic - 10 LIJ Album - 9 ROL - 7 the weakest, earlier I felt VH was the weekest. their live performance changed that. Rock on boys Yes - 8.5 Really hope an accoustic comes out. LOVE THE GUITAR or whatever that is. VH - 8 A Spell - 8.5 Still loving this strange B-side CSC - 8 VIVA! - 10 SS - 10 Come on folks AWESOME! DAAHF 9.5 ESCAPIST 8.5 c-ya SS

I couldnt agree more. I hate sounding like a groupie or some crazed, lunatic fan, but COME ON! There is a ton of originality and beauty to this album. You would have to be tone deaf IMO to think otherwise. Just my opinion and really trying not to insult anyone. I believe it to be on par with last years The Boxer by The National and Neon Bible by the Arcade Fire... I really think its because Coldplay has become so well known that we are going to see many "middle of the road" reviews and it doesnt seem ethical. Have they listened to the album in its entirety, with good headphones more than once? Or did they play snippets and jot down brief notes before they tossed 2008's best CD of the year (so, far) in a drawer...

I disagree completely of his critique on Chris, his song writing ability and his phrasing skills... Cemetaries, Viva, Violet hill are complete story with a comprehensible BEGINNING, MIDDLE & END. As any story should be. Otherwise its a nice review. He is entitled to his opinions as we all are. Frankly I love this shit. So Im biased who cares...

I signed in after work and I couldnt quite type right or see straight for about 5 mins. After I read several confirmations I mananged to download the leak. On first listen my head was still spinning. The night went by as fast and furious as the album does. Loved every minute of it. Sorry you internet is slow. You got sooooooooo upset. I hope you enjoy the album...

They are all great I love them all. I love the progression from one album to the next. While X&Y was a slight step back VLV is a rocket ship out of orbit! I will never forget how Parachutes and AROBTTH made me feel on the first listen. Like I had found the album of albums... Now thats amplified a bit. THIS is going to be sooooooo over played be me my friends may take my life. So, it was nice chatting w/you all if they do. :kiss:

I really thought the song was going to be longer the way they were talking about it. It really gets spinning around and I love the tone and mood of the song once it gets whirling. The whole album moves by so quickly and this song is no exception.
