They tried to do it, but then decided it didn't work because of the rain (and lack of practice). They did play alternative versions of some songs (with more acoustic guitars or piano) and they did a lot of old songs.

On my way home now. Legendary gig. If anyone is familiar with U2 live at Red Rocks, this was kind of like that. With even more rain. And colder. They played a lot of older and more obscure stuff. I have some footage that I will upload tomorrow. So tired and cold right now...

I'm leaving now for the gig. The weather forecast consists of heavy showers and thunderstorms. :cool:

It's been getting worse the last couple of years. Especially in the first week of the Tour. Giro had an even bigger tragedy with the death of Wouter Weylandt.

Anyone over here who likes cycling? The race so far has been overshadowed by all the crashes. Don't know yet. The people I went with in February all hated it (understandably - it wasn't very good). I'll have a hard time convincing people they've changed. :P

Saw him live in 2003. Hands down the best gig I've ever been to. I hope his voice is still as good as it was back then.

FAC51/Haçienda was the name of the Manchester nightclub founded by New Order. :P The pic was taken right after Fleet Foxes finished playing.

I'm not a huge fan of the album. In fact, it's my least favourite Radiohead album (post Pablo Honey). But these live versions are absolutely stunning. One of the best things they've ever done. Blows the actual album out of the water.

Cologne is an awesome city.

Er zijn ook massa's VIPs op TW Classic die zo'n bandje hebben, ook al komen ze pas tijdens de headliner toe. Rot systeem en dodelijk voor de sfeer. Vind het wel goed voor wie er eerst is.
