4-Sep-2009: Estadi Olimpic, Barcelona - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Previews
This is the biggest load of bullshit I have ever heard! The sound is never gonna be that great at a stadium show, any regular gig goer knows that. Anyway the main group behind this is all the Johnny come lately fans who are moaning "oh this was my first time seeing Coldplay and my night was ruined...". Well maybe you should have gone to see them play somewhere before a little more intimate, they play a good few times in spain every tour don't they? Or does it take for the Barca team to be running out VLV every Saturday before you starting taking an interest and jump on the bandwagon?! Get a life. Any real Coldplay plan fan would not join this petition.

13-Jun-2009: Qwest Center, Omaha, NE, USA - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews, Setlists, Photos/Vi
Jesus christ they have to do something with this set list, it is beyond a joke now. Mix it up a bit please! And why when the set lists are published do we always have to have the inclusion of vlv remix and the escapist outro, are they songs that the band are actually playing?! No. We want more songs and some of the dead weight dropped. Also as much as I love them both, I don't think we need LIT and LIT ii in the set do we? The last time I checked our great band weren't that hard up for material. Come on boys pull you're finger out, I don't want it to get around to the European leg of the Tour and you are still persisting with bloody I'm a Believer! I'm going to Wembley and Manchester, the sets will obviously be the same for both days I know but I want something more than what i'm seeing at the moment.

How many offical cd's of Coldplay do you have?
I have about 70 coldplay CD's including all the promo's and lots of alternate releases (very sad I know) from different countries. As far a I know 'Mince Spies' is the rarest i've got and the only really significant thing I am missing is 'Safety' EP, don't know if I will ever be able to justify spending £2000 + on a CD?! I think the person who said that you can pick stuff up cheaper than 2 years ago is right, the arse seems to have fallen out of the Ebay/collectible CD market a little bit...

Cat Stevens too accuses Coldplay from plagiarism
Ha ha, what is it about this song that attracts so much bullshit?!

I'VE JUST BOUGHT MINCE SPIES!!!
After missing out on a few on ebay, I finally won an auction for £65 just before X&Y came out in 2005... this felt like a lot at the time! :laugh3:

Just another example why they are the best band in the world  Every Tom, Dick and Harry will be giving away free CD's after this (maybe not albums though!).

17-Jun-2009: Pengrowth Saddledome, Calgary, Canada - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews, Setlists,
What a load of fucking nonsense. The best thing the band can do is revert to the old system and let people queue for tickets, first come first serve. June 6th 2005: The day X&Y was released (in the UK) and the boys played Koko, I woke up at 4am got the first train into London with pals and queued up for 6 hours to ensure I got a ticket for the show that night. It was one ticket per person, £20, 1500 people and you got a wristband so that you couldn't sell ticket...Perfect! They got it right that day. All this other crap, registration this, pre-sale that is not progress as touts will always beat it. And now increasingly it seems like the promoters themselves are in on it and we have this form of blatant legalised touting as has been seen with the whole MJ charade. Ok, of course it's not always practical to queue on the day for tickets but I just firmly believe that this is one area where the web really hasn't helped music fans. The December o2 gigs were a great example, unless you knew someone working for the o2 box office, were an EMI executive or wanted to pay £500 for a ticket you were fucked and had to sit a mile away from the stage! Thank god there is some standing at Wembley, I don't expect to get anywhere near the front but I'm not that fussed as I was lucky enough to attend Brixton, the BBC and Shepherds Bush on this tour :-) The band themselves have a lot to answer for, they need to get more involved. Don't tell me that they do not have any kind of say in where they play and how tickets are distributed? If I lived somewhere liked Australia or Canada and my only ever opportunity to see them was to fight it out for these second rate (at extortionate prices) arena tickets I would be feeling very disillusioned.

Chris De Burgh Sees Red Over Coldplay
...It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people who queue up to take a swipe at our beloved band, it's just pure jealousy. Reading this guys crap is hilarious, he thinks he is some kind of authority on music. TWAT.

Chris De Burgh Sees Red Over Coldplay
What a tosser, who gives a damn about your 200 crap songs? Mr De Burgh, maybe if you were one of those other great bands you mention then we might take the slightest bit of notice, but even your main claim to fame Lady in Red is complete dross. Do one!

U2 singer Bono apologises after foul-mouthed insult of Coldplay's Chris Martin
I feel disgusted with myself for walking up the road after work last night and watching that shambles U2 nonsense gig on top of the BBC. I have never really liked U2 but as they were playing for free round the corner, I thought I may as well go and have a look. Very average was my verdict, the first 2 songs (the new ones) were awful and they were only saved by playing Vertigo and Beautiful Day at the end. Afterwards I felt like a bit of a 'Wanker' myself actually, changing my usual Friday night habits for a past it band who I don't like, but I thought this will be the one and only time i'll ever see them so I didn't beat myself up to much. But then this morning I read about that ugly Twat's interview on radio and now I hate myself nearly as much as I hate him! U2 are shite, Bono is a pompous prick and his voice is gone, he was awful when I saw him onstage at Shepherds Bush last week (yes he made that strong an impression, even though he was on stage under 5 minutes). Also did anyone see the state of him on Jonathan Ross last night? That jumping into the crowd whilst singing about African condoms was just pure cringe! To be honest, I don't care if his comments were in jest, he needs to show some respect. The guy is not fit to lace Chris' boots as far as I am concerned, lets hope someone assassinates him the next time he has the audacity to try and address the UN.

18-Feb-09: Coldplay/The Killers - War Child gig, Shepherd's Bush, London (Reviews, Pictures, Videos
It's a great little venue, I took my Dad to see Jose Gonzalez at Shepherds Bush last year and we turned up really late and even though it was full we still got a great view. The easy access to the bar is a godsend! By the way guys, you were able to do multiple orders from the same house address as me and my brother both placed orders (our ticketmaster accounts and credit bank/cards are both registered to the same address) he was at Uni in Liverpool at the time though so it must have something to do with the card name or the IP address perhaps that got your 2nd orders cancelled. I was a bit worried at first, but we've printed our tickets and everything seems to be fine...touch wood!

Please lord, they're not going to waste time next at shepherds bush next wednesday playing LIT 1 & 2 are they? I know it's for charity but time will be short and I want my moneys worth! :laugh3: Please boys chuck a Square one or A Message in there, maybe a cheeky little Shiver or Amsterdam? At least another Prospekt track!

My confirmation says I won't be able to print tickets until 7 days before the gig?! I selected some ticketfast delivery option, there were a few options to choose from and I wasn't sure, it was all a bit frantic to be honest and I just wanted to get through the whole process asap!
