Here in Australia the album is currently #1, VLV number #4 and VH a dismal #37.

I was thinking just that lols. If its free randoms will just apply for tickets because they can. Unless they have a way of sorting out the true fans from the not, presenting a Coldplay tattoo on entrance maybe? :\ Anyways looking forward to what the news will be...

Yea wondering the same, got my transaction confirmation when I ordered online but wondering if a delivery email will be sent when its shipped or whatever. If anyone could shed some light, it'd be much appreciated. :D

I agree its not the "old" Coldplay as it were - but even tho its different, it still is Coldplay in my eyes. And this song is different, but more importantly its different done well. If Coldplay can make something thats not usually "them" and make it great, then that just reinforces to me how awesome they are.

That is basically what I was going to say. Absolutely amazing. I thought it couldnt get better after Violet Hill, but it did. ASARY - yea, B-Side so I don't really care that it doesnt hold a candle to VLV and VH.

I just got the song now, absolutely great. Although I didn't have to pre-order the album to get it. :\ This album is going to be amazing! :rolleyes: Agreed it is very bouncey!

In my opinion, I reckon you might have it spot on, this is the first part and thats why it only says that on the front cover. When the artwork was released everyone was wondering what happened to DAAHF. In some ways the title might be very fitting (even though its the name of the song as well) - death and all his friends - a song and others along with it that didn't make it onto VLV? :thinking:

Like the first 3 seconds sound very similar, every else is nothing like it. First of all its a different tempo, the guy singing it sounds shit and its a totally different feel.

VH is absolutely amazing and I love it - I'm listening to it all the time. When the album comes out it will be on repeat constantly for months!! :D Free single, vinyl, just for everything - you guys rock! :D

To be honest I think every "Violet Hill is poor" thread or post on here is a bit crap, no offence, I mean your entitled to your opinion, and I respect that, but as a Coldplay fan I'm not gunna nit pick over "Omg, its like this its like that, it sucks, etc". I'm just gunna sit back and enjoy the single and album for what it is. To be fair, its obvious they weren't gunna come out with a rap album, its still Coldplay yea, and I have never compared their albums to each other really, they are all different in their own way, so what I'm gunna do when I get VLV is sit back and enjoy it - and if I think the album is shit well, guess what - the Coldplay we know and love didn't think it was, so they made it and put it out their so basically - who gives a crap?

I pressed submit and the email was in my inbox literally within seconds, but I was refreshing the page for 5 minutes until 12:15 GMT so I dunno, probably was one of the lucky first to get in there straight away....:\
