this is how mine is looking 26.07 - LCD Soundsystem + Hot Chip ( I see it as a legitimate double billing) 02.08 - Laura Marling 04.08 - Mumford & Sons 16.08 - Slash 26.08 - Angus & Julia Stone 09.12 - Muse would of been perfect if i could've added metallica to that list. still might try if i get a favourable exam timetable.

it really does lack the kick the songs on their debut had. something tells me they want some airplay on nova.

new Children Collide album on the way. Theory of Everything will be out August 27. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ul-R3-nE1_c]YouTube- Children Collide Jellylegs ( NEW SINGLE -- MAY 2010 !! High Quality )[/ame] much the same vibe as their debut but a cleaner sound. they showed alot of potential on their debut so im hoping they pull it off on their second effort. in term of pure musicianship and musical chemistry i would say this 3 piece is one of the best we've had in aus for many years.

at acer arena they're $130 and add on those wonderful transaction and postage fees ticketek love to slap onto everything. if the fees are anything like the ones for metallica i want each ticket to be personally presented to me at my front door by miranda kerr dressed in her GQ photo shoot outfit.

Tame Impala
http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53453 - the original thread but im alright with having 2 about this great band. Innerspeaker is easily the best aussie album since In Ghost Colours possibly even the amazing Cruel Guards. if i get sick of studying later tonight i might write a full review of the album on this thread

U2
*gets-into-aus-never-gets-any-good-tours mood* at least you guys know when U2 will be coming back. down here we have no idea IF OR WHEN they will bring 360 to aus. but i do feel for the almost million people who have been affected by this. lets not forget the 100s of people who work on the tour.

U2 CANCEL APPEARANCE AT GLASTO - REPLACED BY GORILLAZ
ok this is really bugging me so im just going to say what i wanted to say then get out of here. now hardcore coldplay fans. you claim that because VLV outsold No Line 3 to 1 that makes coldplay a bigger band. i completely understand that. but if you're going to judge the biggest band just by that then you're basically saying that alongside coldplay the biggest include the black eyed peas, lady gaga and taylor swift. as they've sold almost as many as coldplay has over the last couple of years. if you're ok with coldplay being in that sort of company then i really have nothing left to say. now that leaves us with the other measure of big-ness, concert tours. now that obviously gives U2 a massive advantage but i dont think its as simple as that. although coldplay do smaller shows their shows tend to sell out much quicker, at least from my experience. rather i think its better to ask which band can draw the bigger crowd. now i noticed that a few of the hardcore coldplay fans were south american. i think you guys should look at "if coldplay and u2 came here tomorrow which band would sell more tickets" and i think a comparison of their last visit to Sao Paulo's epic Morumbi is a good one to take U2 - 2 nights - 149 000 out of 149 000 tickets sold Coldplay - 1 night - 53 000 out 63 000 tickets sold you can argue that coldplay is bigger because their fans are willing to spend money on them. but a ticket to a u2 gig costs 10x that of a coldplay album. more fans on twitter and facebook? show me a true u2 fan who can turn on a computer and then we can talk. well thats all i wanted to say. really doubt ive convinced anyone but im stuck behind a desk 12hrs a day so i need something to vent on. i love both bands (coldplay much much more) and even though i dont think coldplay is the biggest now give them 10yrs and they will be top of the world unless of course matt, chris and dom have something to say about that.

i was very wrong to say that muse will be here in november. chris will be having baby no.5 in november and that has lead them to cancel a few dates in november. now im not sure how much time he wants to spend at home before coming down to aus. but i would like to think at least 3 or 4 weeks. so my tip for tomorrow mornings announcement is december possibly january tour.
