theres one thing for certain i just dont see too many 0-0 draws in the early stages of the world cup. especially with the ball they are using. i work at a sports store and we sell the official match ball (as a collectors item) and ive had the chance to use it a few times and it is as unpredictable as anything. i think the goalies will have a horrible time at this cup. but eventually the better keepers will get used to it and we'll start to see games going into extra time at 0-0 as the teams lean towards "not losing" rather than going for the "win". my predictions South Africa 2- 2 Mexico Uruguay 3 - 2 France

really hope australia makes it to the 2nd round. we have little or not chance against germany. ghana is a must win match especially now that they are essien-less. serbia is going to be like our game against croatia at the last world cup. its really going to go down to our players just being on task on the night. of course beating or drawing with germany to begin with would be ideal but highly unlikely. although we have a experienced team than last time, theyre all 4 years older and most are on the wrong side of 30. and we no longer have guus hiddink.

^^ wasnt cut copy 2008? i remember they finished the album midway through 2007 but they had some issues and couldnt bring it out until a few months into 2008. imo Cut Copy would have to be one of the biggest names on that line up. people i would say only vaguely remember the wombats especially with the countless copycat bands that have turned up and done well in the interim. missy elliot hasnt done much in yonks and kele is very much unproven. im just surprised that they feature so far down on that line up, there are some massive international festivals who have put them higher up.

woooo Cut Copy are back!! have they promised a new album in 2010?? i was just wondering about the wombats yesterday. they seemed to have disappeared as quickly as they appeared. feels like an eternity ago that they dropped Dance to Joy Division.

Listening to Definitely Maybe at the moment. its in my top 20 albums of all time and going by the size of my library thats saying something. brilliant album!

Innerspeaker is sitting at a 9/10 for me. best aussie album since In Ghost Colours imo. i would say thats after about 15 to 20 listens. so nice to finally have a few highly anticipated albums that havent disappointed. angus + julia, JBT, eddy current and tame impala have all live up to expectations, some have even surpassed it.

not a single show that went on sale this morning reached Allocation Exhausted status. are they not as popular as i thought. or does it come to the seating plan they've used including rear view seats which are just expensive are moshpit and gold seating tickets.
