^^ yeah thats part of the impossible music festival i was talking about before. you pick you're fave acts and if you win you get to introduce and back announce 3 of their live recordings during the event.

yeah they were talking about the drums last night on the radio and their on stage antics. they were saying it was going to split the audience in half, half will hate it the other half will be blown away. how did you find it?

im kinda hooked on every freken second of This Is Happening. i have to restrain myself from listening to it every day. dont worry to over-listen to it.

i know this is a generic choice but On A Day Like This always floors me. its just beautiful!

i randomly decided to put on Seldom Seen Kid today. had forgotten just how amazing that record is!

^^ divided in 2 is ok. they have that at the enmore theatre in sydney which despite only having standing room for 1500 people splits the floor in 2 to make it easier to get out at the end. but thats broken into 6 oddly shaped sections. im really surprised because muse is playing acer arena down here which always divides its floor in half but wont be for muse.

^^ alot of people have been talking about them. i'll write that down my "want' list.

i watched the full silversun pickups set and despite not liking the band i was rather impressed. also watched first 10mins of devo then gave up on them before tuning back in to watch Hole but left again STP came on. one washed up rockstar is enough for me.

i know this has nothing to do with me. but i take issue with that seating plan. now im assuming that those red blocks 1 to 6 are divided in that way to allow for seating. who in their right mind would have an all-seater muse concert! i just fail to see why it would be like that. i can imagine that for a coldplay show or something but with muse a wild moshpit is part of the attraction, an all-seater setup would kill that atmosphere.

does anybody else think frank lampard looks a little like matt?

awesome news people. as some of you hardcore muse fans may know, muse are headlining the massive rock am ring/rock im park festivals this weekend. the festival is almost always webcast but its usually just crappy bands who are happy for the exposure a webcast might give them. well this time around Muse will be webcast on this site http://www.dasding.de/rockamring#http://www.dasding.de/rockamring/Rock-am-Ring-2010-live-im-Livestream/-/id=107712/vv=content/nid=107712/did=263376/m9oj6f/index.html now i cant read german so i cant guarantee anything but if someone who can read german could take a look at that site and see what its saying that would be great. from my estimates i think they will be showing the band live from rock im park or a delayed broadcast of their rock am ring show. either way cant wait. they go on stage 1.15AM german time.

i was a big fan in my high school years and even though i still loved it i just didnt ever got around to watching it. but this year they've started uploading it on abc's iview so i watch it off there whenever i can. the genius that is alan brough will never cease to amaze me.

forget the youtube webcast. NPR music will be webcasting over 40 performances from the event!!! i hope they're different to the 20 youtube have.

^^ personally i hope they headline The Falls Festival. that would be epic.

yeah you're right. they were in aus+nz for BDO 2008 and alot of sideshows. including two very very famous nights at sydney's enmore theatre. at the sydney BDO they actually headlined the orange stage (the second main stage) after bjork pulled out. here is some footage from those famous sydney shows. the guys at triple j still call it the greatest show they've ever seen. ^^ do the offspring still have their original line up? just saw the seating plan for the muse shows. theyre playing in the round!!! had no idea. whats even better is that the moshpit is not divided in 2 so its going to be one heluva pit. this kinda gives the impression that they will most probably do only 2 shows as each show will see about 20 000 attending.

got tickets this morning. i'll be in the pit. but not going to turn up too early cos im not a big fan of the barricade rather be in the middle of the pit so i dont see myself getting there anytime before 6 especially if im working that day.

yeah im much the same. but over time ive grown to love the white stripes much more. the raconteurs awesome too but the dead weather just dont do it for me. that statement seems rather odd considering i started this thread lol.

i've given up on this band. i just want him to realise that this project has hurt his integrity big time and maybe he should get back to what he does best.
