anyone still watching? Interpol were just perfect playing 11 of their biggest songs and now i'm catching the last 15mins of the Mumford set. i still can't believe they're playing the main stage at Coachella in front of what looks like 50 odd thousand people. just a year ago they were playing tiny venues every where and a year before they were completely unknown. and i'm loving the quick impromptu celeb interviews theyre doing backstage. just saw the host with sir paul and usher.

aahhhhh faarrrrrkkk. i looking forward to man utd winning the most half arsed treble in history. ah wells.

right now they have Mumford on Ch1, AF interview on Ch2 and Interpol on Ch3. ffffffffffff

really excited about the Interpol encore! just had a sneak peak had the setlist and they seem to be doing a great spread of all 4 albums in their limited time. i think it is an absolute insult that they were put before the black keys on the main stage. i know the black keys last album was brilliant and interpols wasnt really (i liked it) but interpol have an incredibly well respected and admired back catalogue that the black keys could never match. if it was up to me they would be after kings of leon as well lol.

blistering set from Foals! but not sure if it's a good idea for a guy as big and built as Yannis to be diving onto the crowd. i think he landed on a girl lol poor thing.

actually might watch Yelle after this. the chick looks pretty hot :P SPANISH SAHARA WOO :D

lol just realised the drummer from foals has the exact same hair style and colour as the singer from TDCC.

exactly what i'm doing haha. but there's a small period in the middle of the day where there isnt much going on so i might get some study done then.....maybe haha

ok my plan for the day TDCC nothing Foals nothing The Kills Mumford/Interpol Elbow Empire of the Sun ARCADE FIRE!! will probably watch Interpol over M&S because i haven't seen much of them live since their 4th album came out. and heres to hoping that what happened with AF happens with Kanye tomorrow and he is added to the webcast. not that tomorrows youtube lineup isn't amazing enough already

yeah the first 20mins of the TDCC set wasn't perfect for me either kept on stopping but the rest was very enjoyable. i'm not a fan or anything but their music is very easy on the ears and they're a lot of fun live. not big on Cage the elephant so i might just do something else for 45mins then come back in time for Foals.

they're about 20mins into their set coachella. so you can still catch them on youtube for a bit longer.

TDCC has really gotten the crowd going today and they sound great. but the Foals set is the one that i'm really looking forward to. and i really wish the Interpol encore wasn't at the same time as M&S.

i heard tame impala pulled quite the crowd which is great to hear. they have greatly improved their live show since their early days.

i got held up at work so i only caught The Black Keys who were pretty great. looking forward to watching a lot more action tomorrow :)

since 8 January 2011 (the day Dalglish took over at Anfield) Man Utd has won the most number of points with 25. Liverpool is second with 23! they would've been first had they managed to beat Wigan at home lol

britney 2.0? haven't heard that all that much. most people call her Madonna 2.0 which i still is very apt. a pop star who is a control freak and incredibly talented and rather mad and massively sexualised (in an artistic way of course)

love them. the debut album was good without being brilliant but they are a really excellent live band. make sure you go see them if you get the chance when they tour for their next album.

its not actually that bad. i kinda worked it out as, i'll see about 20 acts that i genuinely like over the 3.5 days which is about $35 each band and i'll get to see them in an awesome atmosphere. i had a look at the prices for Reading & Leeds and they're about the same minus the travel costs. and hey its a nice weekend away. i think Lihyahm hit the nail right on the head. i know a lot of you really really love coldplay but $700 just on them......ehh i couldn't ever justify it.

what do others think of the newy? it has very little on their previous two releases but this album has a nice feel to it. a bit more reserved and laid back with some awesome tracks like Will Do and Repetition. i can see myself listening to this over and over again through the year.

i know i should be supporting local acts. but i think they're pretty average. we produce far better music than this.
