  1. He's a very noce guy... and for once, he didn't tell me to say that
  2. You can hear the collective sigh of relief in the air :p
  3. Have to say, I'm a bit bored with all the "What to they think of this band or that artist?" And am I just being really cynical, or do all of these bands have new stuff coming out just when the Oracle posts about them... are fans of other bands using the Oracle to get a bit of free advertising???
  4. December 15, 2009 - submitted by Daniel, Brunei Q. Hi Oracle! I was watching the ad for the end of decade clearout sale and I saw Will is wearing a neck brace. Is Will had an accident or something? The Oracle replies: I can assure the many people that have written in to ask - and all those who didn't - that Will is fine. It was all part of the sketch so his neck isn't hurt.
  5. December 15, 2009 - submitted by Hayden, United States of America Q. Dear Oracle, I've noticed that on several items, including my 2009 tour program, the band signed it with 4 strange m-shaped symbols after the word Coldplay. Could you please inform me on what these mean or stand for because it has been bothering me since the concert in May. Thanks a ton The Oracle replies: Without seeing it I would hazard a guess - or ahem, use my knowledge of everything - and say that they are doodles of the 4 band members. They'll be quite simple in style and would say they're similar to this.
  6. This just in... December 15, 2009 - submitted by Daan, United Kingdom Q. Hi Oracle What does Chris think of the band The Guillemots? Personally I thought their first album was the best. And what about the lead singer, Fyfe Dangerfield, who is just about to release a new album? The Oracle replies: It's funny how the lives of many bands can be traced back and linked together; Chris and Fyfe knew each other over 10 years ago. Fyfe used to be in a band called Senseless Prayer who were rather brilliant. They were championed by John Peel and Steve Lamacq but never quite made it. Fyfe is an amazing songwriter and though he can sometimes be experimental he has continued to make great music over the past decade.
  7. I had a thought about the list... If you have recieved a card from someone whose name does not appear on Lore's latest list, please let her or me know - it could be that some people sent their cards early and forgot to let us know :elf:
  8. Treasure these moments, Jen & Ian... right now he's putting golden footprints on to your Christmas cards... soon enough he'll be leaving muddy footrints on the carpet when he gets home from football!
  9. It may be cute... but child labour is a sure fire way to get you on Santa's naughty list :elf:
  10. Ok... we need to get our detective hats on here: If you are in America and you sent Jen & Ian a card, can you please let Lore or myself know via PM, because we don't think it's the Secret Santa mail that got lost... Unless the card got re-routed before being lost
  11. Can anyone around here tell me the Polish for Happy Christmas?
  12. I bet it got damaged over here... if it looked like an interesting package, the postmen probably looked inside - they tried to steal a mobile phone from me once. I'm so sorry, guys... could it be from anyone else? Or do you think it was definitely your Santa?
  13. And if you think he's joking... you're wrong :P Make sure your MP3 player is fully charged for the journey down :laugh3: Pix please!!!
  14. Ahem... it's RedGirl76 :P I wasn't going for September, but I realised most other people would be. I think Ian missed a trick there, he could have had some big contest to find the winner... September Idol :laugh3:
  15. Maybe this years Christmas message will be recorded at the concert...
  16. My favourite song is In My Place, but I think their best song is Viva La Vida - the lyrics, the melody, the production... it's about as perfect as they get. I'll be honest, I've never really understood the fuss about Clocks...
  17. Are you going to assign months... or will there be some big fight to see who gets September :P
  18. Loving it - the gay couple are my favourites... the trip to Costco, Fizzbo the Clown, dressing Lily as Diana Ross... I love every scene they're in!

Birthday wishes from Hope you get lots of Maybe get some quiet time to relax and play some music I'm sure the day will be full of smiles Maybe the odd surprise...
