scrubs
Well, hopefully once the show moves to ABC in 2009 there will be new life infused into the show. I agree that the finale was sub-par, mediocre at best. Ever since the writer's strike I have felt like sitcoms are just "going through the motions", so to speak. Scrubs is no exception.

American Idol Season 7!!
I agree. I think the producers are gearing up for an Archuleta vs. Cook showdown. Like, "Ohhhhh, look. Two guys named David. Competing against one another. Now go vote!" :laugh3:

The End
True. Unlike Yoko Ono, you can understand what Gwyneth is saying...even if it is nasally driven. ;)

How you feel today?
I am quite happy today.

The End
Yoko Paltrow! Brilliant! :laugh3:

He told me he purchased the ring just before Valentine's Day. I'll keep waiting, because I have no choice.

Perhaps I will take another shot at playing guitar someday. For now, I'm just going to concentrate on school and such. I'll let you know if I start up again, James. Maybe you can give me some insight on how to play!

Today I nearly died...
Oh my goodness, David! That seems pretty scary. I am really afraid of heights so I never get on ladders. I'm glad you are okay enough to relay your story to us. Be careful!

what is your career or dream career?
Now that is just awesome! Good for you! :D

Unfortuantely, I do not. I tried to play acoustic guitar, but my hands are too small for it to be comfortable. I was heavily involved in theatre and choir in high school, and have even sung with a friend at some open mic nights but I never took it very seriously. I'm jealous of those that have a natural talent for playing musical instruments.

what is your career or dream career?
While that is quite the impressive offer, I'm afraid I cannot. My boyfriend would not be too pleased to find me kissing my laptop screen. :laugh3: You know what? I have a brother about your age, and he has said that he and his friends are pretty much in the same boat. They want to do something, but the options seem to be overwhelming. I actually did not go to college after high school. I lived a pretty rough life. I ended up getting involved in heavy drug usage and insane, abusive relationships. I finally "woke up" the day of my 25th birthday. I was in a bad situation living with a man that abused me mentally and physically. My family and I had a strained at-best relationship. I had no friends, save for the peope that I used drugs with. I realized that day that I had always thought that what was best for me was actually the worst thing that ever happened to me. I left the bad situation, detoxed, and started a new path of life from square one. Fast forward to today. At age 31 I finally realized what I wanted to do with my life. I enrolled in school for a healthcare adminitration degree, I work full time for a medical records company, have a group of people that I call friends that make me want to always be a better person, and a loving relationship that is fulfilling. Anyway, what is it that you love to do? It could be a hobby or past time that you find yourself a part of. If gettng high is something you really enjoy, think of some careers that will incorporate that. Perhaps becoming a lawyer so that you can help change the laws or protect those that really, truly need marijuana. Perhaps you can look into lobbying for medical marijuana rights. Join NORML and get involved in events near you. I don't know...just some suggestions...

It is really awesome to be able to relate to people who appreciate the same music that we do. Music seems important to you. I would have to say that it is a very important aspect of my life, as well.

Well, thank you! ;) So, you live in the midwest, eh? I assume that you are out of high school. Are you at college now?

I really do like it here. The discussions have been quite lively, especially in the Coldplay section. I appreciate people really enjoying one another and feeding off the excitement of the new album and consequent tour.

Well, hello. I am Carolyn, 31, also from the Midwest. So, let me guess...the responses you have been posting today have been making you laugh because you're high, right? I can understand that. I partake in the herb on occasion and also find myself being quite silly. Just remember, that being respectful is key. Let's have fun!

Thank you for the welcome! Nice to meet you, Rolle. I'm Carolyn. :D

I'll tell you who the fuck I am if you tell us who the fuck YOU are. Don't ask questions you wouldn't be willing to answer, yourself.

I am disappointed in you, The Magic Brownie. :\ I know it is wrong to feed into troll behavior, like the shite you have been posting today. It makes me really sad that you feel the need to be so ugly in your responses, though. Is it really necessary? Don't you have anything better to do? Wouldn't you like to be a participant that actually has something meaningful to say?
-
what is your career or dream career?
I would be your biggest fan. For real.

Sorry, I was just trying to find the bright side. :\ You seem to have a good outlook about it, though! :laugh3:
