Oh my! You know, I'm so used to being on message boards that are strictly populated by Americans that I forget that on this awesome international board there are so many that live in time zones vastly different from my own. I think it's really cool. :) The members of this board have really shown me a positive sense of an international community.

Perhaps they did not want to make you sad, considering that you would not be able to join them. It's difficult to have to choose responsibility over the fun times. But, once you have achieved your educational goals, it will well be worth the wait. Don't you agree? :hug

I am very well, thank you! I've been quite lazy today. All the doors and windows are open so I am enjoying the fresh air while I work on a little homework. I ought to go for a walk when I finish my first section as a reward. :D How are you?

I'm disappointed in the Chicago show's date and venue. Unfortunately it is on a Monday night, at the United Center (which sucks, acoustically), and is the week of my yearly Dave Matthews Band weekend at Alpine Valley. I already had to take that Friday and the next Monday off, so I probably won't be granted an additional day in the middle of the week off. :(

I am a fan of the now-defunct TV show called Arrested Development.

If they're going big on the staging, it might very well be necessary for the tour to be in stadiums. I saw Coldplay at Alpine Valley a few years ago, which is a pretty big venue (holds 40,000). I prefer smaller, more intimate venues but I'll never get to see themm in that kind of environment ever again.

I am quite familiar with OAR. I love Marc Roberge's voice, but I feel that the songs all sound the same. There's a reggae beat that gets extremely repetitive. I would suggest their live album "34th and 8th" to get acquainted with their style. This particular album is a stereotypical OAR show with all of the staples. Hey Girl and Crazy Game of Poker are the fan favorites.

Ugh. I'm in a very challenging critical thinking type course right now, and it has become very confusing. I'm up late re-reading the last several chapters in hopes that I can become un-confused.

The place we went to was a whole bar jam-packed with those that were over their limit. The music was bloody awful, the townfolk were downright mean, and I saw NUMEROUS people leave to operate their cars after having been overserved. Why do people always have to go over the line? Why can't enough be just that...enough? I know I am ranting a bit. I'm mostly disappointed that my best friend fell victim to the same behavior tonight. Out of control and silly. :\
