same here! MM best track on the record by a mile! plus its really the only "rock enough" song on the album

too right! just imagine what a masterpiece this album would have turned out to be if it wasn't so overproduced and at times pretentious. never thought i would love PoC one day, but god the acoustic sounds incredible. i don't particularly like rihanna either but lets admit she does have the voice and on this quieter version with chris and his guitar...pretty darn good

agreed it is an epic song and i've grown to really like it. still not changed my mind about the album. my least favourite and don't actually listen to it at all these days. viva and a rush on the other hand; cant go a day without listening to them BUT, recently their live shows have become spectacular. best throughout their career

exactly! the perfect thing now for them would be to take 3 or 4 years off and just disappear. they've reached a level of stardom that no matter how long they leave the scene, whenever they come back there'll still be millions of fans wanting to listen to their music. it would give them so much time to work on something groundbreaking and maybe even more evolutionary. i don't mind evolution as long as they stick to their roots. its why i love VLV so much and i think its one of the greatest if not THE greatest albums of all time along with AROBTTH. but they carry on with MX and they might end up on pitbull's next album (and i love what u've done with my quotes thnx i guess!:D)

oh dear me you know what i hate?! when some people are so blinded by their love for the band that even if they came out one day murdering puppies you would justify it somehow. (they havent done anything that terrible here im just sayin) you cant compare PoC to their previous work because it has the name of a COUNTRY in the bloody title. its like naming a bond movie 007: Romania and then creating something about Poland!! raised eyebrows are inevitable. plus they've "tried" to go for an asian look anyway but got everything mixed up. so it does matter you see

meh disappointed AGAIN! no real story behind it and with that behind the scenes video i was expecting it to be much more spectacular. its not even japanese OR chinese. they're just swinging around swords in the air (which by the way looks terribly done) and a lot more random things! a random music video for a very very random song. i'll pretend this PoC just never happened! one thing i will admit; its at least better than charlie brown. don't even get me started on that!! ETIAW by far the best mv of this era

not been this excited for a coldplay video in ages. out of the ordinary for coldplay but looks really promising

guys i respect your thoughts on MX and all but carrying on from MX would be idiotic. viva broke boundaries and it did it perfectly. but MX revolutionised everything about them and that sometimes works for a band and sometimes it doesn't. brother ali could go into heavy metal and come up with a masterpiece, but only if hes does it right. MX will only be remembered as a controversial album which drastically changed their sound. nothing more. as i said earlier people will still be listening to viva and the scientist even in 30 years time but nothing from MX

yeah fair point well made; and a lot of people might think MX is indeed a masterpiece. everyone is entitled to their opinion. but lets face it in 20 years time people will remember coldplay for their clocks and scientist and in my place and politik etc plus admittedly viva la vida. a rush and viva will always be remembered as their two masterpiece albums. but paradise, POC, every tear?! erm nopeee
