i dont think its wise for any iranian to answer that question on the internet. but i believe the government's view compared to the nation's couldn't be more contradictory. there is however concerns over how the west generally views the middle east. iranians aren't arabs, not everyone is a terrorist there etc

whilst i completely agree with macky about how they had to evolve to stay at the top, they changed too much in terms of their sound and style with MX and became almost unrecognizable as coldplay and totally moved into the mainstream pop territory; and thats the main reason it wont be remembered like viva and a rush in 10-15 years time. wisest thing now would be to go back to their roots and maybe come up with something fresh, but at the same time reminiscent of their older material.

okay guys since now we all know Will reads the blog occasionally, i was thinking we should do a separate thread with a title in bold like "WILL WE LOVE YOU" or whatever (okay not in a camp kinda way you know :P) so it gets his attention right away when he comes on, and everybody can summarize how the band and their music has changed their life (people can take their posts from other threads and paste it there). i know people have shared this before all over the forum but to gather it all in one place so the band can read it with no hassle of having to search though the forum (obviously they wont!) would be AMAZING. theres been some negativity recently cuz of MX and i myself have been very critical indeed maybe even harsh at times i reckon this would change thing a bit okay just a thought tell me what you think

felt exactly like you said! i had never looked forward so much to anything like that in my life and after the show i just felt sort of depressed and of course you cant sleep that night cuz of the excitement so you're kinda up all night with images playing through your head etc its pretty surreal. its fine after a couple of days though and a lot has changed since i dont think it'll happen again when i see them next there are women and children tortured and murdered everyday in syria, and a lot of other terrible things happening. i think there are more important issues to get even remotely depressed about

yeah very true. but what about the ones we haven't heard. others mentioned that maybe the band thinks they aren't good but... a coldplay song not good enough to release? meh not possible! i think they're just undecided

aaah that song is pure magic (from the viva sessions i think) i'd do anything to hear the studio version. songs like that and famous old painters. even with no lyrics it sounds amazing. why they haven't released them i don't know :\
