I don't want them to release anything for another 3 to 4 years and then come up with a masterpiece. maybe it'll turn out as good as AROBTTH although I strongly doubt anything will ever be as good!

Not my favourite on the album but has definitely grown on me. I like it a lot more now and not proud I used to ridicule it so much before.

yeah thats a pretty amazing video but has nothing to do with the song and just doesn't capture the feeling. its the same with the rest of their recent videos. just my opinion though im sure i could be wrong

i'd be worried if it was a few years back but now i just don't care! they haven't come up with a decent video in ages except for fix you perhaps. just hope they know what they're doing with all these Japanese elements cuz lets face it, it will be quite offensive if they get it wrong

even an idiot (you like that word don't you!) would never suggest paradise is lyrically good so it doesn't take a doctorate to figure that out! im sure you've heard pink floyd's high hopes? that song would define genius lyrics pretty well for your friend. yes simplicity could in some cases lead to great lyrics but barbie girl was simple too. im not saying paradise is as bad as barbie girl but it isnt great. HOWEVER thats just my opinion and i totally respect yours. heck you can say one direction deserves a grammy and it wouldnt bother me

agreed. i think hes undoubtedly one of the best drummers in the world and he just keeps getting better plus his contribution is more than anyone in the band (apart from chris!). pretty sure he prefers not being in the spotlight though but people really don't give him enough credit not even on here

fair point. and thats what i mean. if you don't particularly like someone doesn't mean their music isn't worthy. i hate madonna and enrique etc personally but i admit their music is at times brilliant. this is except for two individuals obviously; lady gaga and bieber. i dont usually count them as human beings

okay i'll probably get a lot of stick for saying this but im really glad they didnt win anything out of their nominations, which is exactly what i predicted. maybe its wishful thinking but i hope that tells them something. AND the performance was terrible. why on earth didnt they play charlie brown or major minus? i dont know! and im not expecting anything for next year either cuz lets face it MX is way too weak for grammy standards, UNLIKE EVERYTHING THEY'VE EVER DONE BEFORE THIS. oh and Adele is a genius, and so are the foo fighters

(okay im bein sarcastic now obviously that'll never happen) but the whole giving up on the band thing is too silly. if they come up with the same stuff in another two consecutive albums THEN they've truly betrayed a lot of the fans. for the time being we'll let them deal with their midlife crisis and enjoy all the teenage attention
