Being the most watched doesn't mean you're necessarily the best. This will sound terrible, but a lot of people are idiots. And he has made things up, he does it all the time. I'm not just making that up. Plus he doesn't allow for any other side of an issue to be discussed (least from what I've seen). If he does he doesn't even really allow the person he has on to express their views, and just has them on the show to try and make them look like a fool, which they usually aren't. If you take the show for what it is, it can be very funny though, he's such a pompous ass it can be hilarious. For a little bit anyway I don't like most news stations though, I'll agree with you there. Most seem to just be turning into tabloid type programs. MSNBC is the best I think at trying to get at least some kind of balanced and fair news across. Newspapers are by far the best in my opinion though Also, I don't mean you're an idiot or anything so don't take this the wrong way. I just don't like Bill O'Reilly

Yeah the set looks pretty sick, their new military style is really cool I think too. Jonny's guitar looks awesome too, it looks kind of like the way I painted mine a while ago

I've never seen National Treaure 2 so I wouldn't know, it's probably close if you noticed it. I really thought the aliens were a terrible choice though, I was really enjoying it up until the end, it kind of ruined it for me

Everyone got defensive because he couldn't even defend his position, he didn't really descirbe the songs or make any kind of intelligent remarks. Even if he did have the songs his comments on them weren't anything to get behind (or defend). Then when asked where he got them that led to nothing. He was clearly just doing it to insight some kind of reaction, and he did. People can bash him if they feel the need to, myself and you included. I'm all for hearing other peoples opinions and respecting them like you are saying, given they know what they're talking about. I see no problem with people letting loose on him given the situation.

You can stream X-FM on your comp, it's pretty easy. And I'm sure a ton of people will be recording this and it'll be on torrent sites, etc. really soon after. And it won't be that bad of quality, I think fm quality equates to like 96 kps or something. That's kind of bad, but I can live with it for now

They'll probably change up the song a little live, I mean that's better in my opinion. I hope they do, I hate when bands play songs note for note live. I like to see them mix things up a bit. And as for the actually topic of this thread, loosen up, are you that uptight?

Haha yeah they're not that big are they?... Yet ha. Least not outside America. I played those two to death. And you've gotten Lazy Eye stuck in my head again! Have you heard the Remixes EP? It has a few different remixed versions of Lazy Eye and Little Lovers So Polite, its similar to all the techno remixes of Coldplay songs. Its ok, nice to hear a little different versions. They're do for another album, or EP at least. And Lazy Eye is fucking incredible, reminded me of that Smashing Pumpkins song the first time I heard it. Way better though

I totally agree with you about X & Y. I honestly think its incredible I do like parachutes though, it is very mellow at points but its very, very good. Yellow never really did anything for me, or In My Place for that matter

I've actually finished it, but it took me a long time, the better part of two weeks. It might have been that I always was reading it before bed but it literally put me to sleep A LOT, I mean a lot, like to the point where I just couldn't keep my eyes open. You know what I'm talking about? Where your eyes just keep shutting no matter how hard you try to keep them open. It was a good novel though, different from what you're used to probably. I'd say read it if you can find the time. On a side note this was one of the assigned readings for my summer class in London in a month for some reason and I'm so fucking glad I don't have to read it. Four other novels are assigned, including Great Expectations and some other fairly large books and I don't think I'd be able to finish them all by the end of June

I'm not sure everybody even likes it, some people really do hate it. I personally love it to death though. And I think the musicianship on it is the best they've ever done, VLV looks like it will almost certainly top it on that though.

Yeah, I think it was more to bash the Sun and Smart. That review was pretty much shit too, told you nothing about the album, just praised it to high hell. Think that was the point he was trying to get across, thought it was pretty funny

Haha, I'm guessing he meant like really early stuff, like the first three EP's have some more straightforward rock type songs. Just off the top of my head Brothers and Sisters, It's Only Superstition, Bigger Stronger. Those types of songs. They always had softer ballad type songs though, never were just a straight up rock band

I think he was talking about the boards at msn. But he was clearly doing it to tick people off and get a response and some attention. Mostly I think the guy is just jealous and pissed off that they are so successful. They clearly have talent, he just doesn't want to accept it or give them any credit. The money and fame they have probably pisses him off
