I am spending a very curious Christmas time in California. My first December in summer weather! So lovely to have Coldplay release excitement bubbling up every day while I am here :)

I love the lyrics, my favourite from Coldplay yet to be honest. Guess it all comes down to how relatable they are to each person? I cant wait for tomorrow to listen to the full magnus opus :D

You know I caved in and looked for the leak back when it was leaked, but the Universe thought it best to keep it from me so I never found it and I never asked for it hehe Which resulted in my uncovering new tracks a bit at the time, like Army of One and Fun today. So yeah no leak is the way to go! So much more enjoyable and like you say, tomorrow its Christmas! hehe

As far as I always understood, the Superbowl is a big gig in the States, way beyond the sport event, because so many people will be watching, not just the hardcore sport fans. The wide audience I guess is the reason this gig is so sought after, so I think they will be perfect because they are the biggest band in the world (as much as they try to deny it LOL) and Beyonce will join them :)

Cant get enough of Jonny period haha He just shines on Ahfod, more than ever before. I believe he was always meant to take a prominent place in each song. In each song even his simplest short solos were just stand-out parts and would define the track! But it just took him a while to gain confidence to get in there all the way I think. Wonderful to see him stand in the sun now. :) And boy does he colour each track on Ahfod we heard so far...

Listening to it for the second time Infectious chord progression. Initially it reminded me of the first chords of Kyle´s Chris-penned Christmas song hehe

I saw them in Paris September 2012, well near the end of MX era and also saw the last concerts of Viva era. It was fantastic! Everyone was just as hyped at the gigs hehe

Coming so late to this. Just found out it was actually premiered so I am off listening to it after finishing the replay of iHeart Release Party. What with the BBC concert this morning, the release party now, the Army of One premiere and now Fun, its been an amazing whole Coldplay day for me *lol*

Was not paying much attention to him to be honest. I found the replies to the questions interesting and we got some new bits of info, for example about the origin of Amazing Day and how this album was "smooth sailing" in the making :)

And just holding that big vinyl disc in your hand, so colourful and seeing it spin as you listen to it! LOL Maybe cuz I was not born in the times of vinyl but in the digital age, the whole vinyl experience looks so exotic and appealing to me haha I only have a small portable vinyl player so far but I loved listening to them, just lying down with my headphones. Its a special experience.

It just feels the opposite to me: very right! hehe Vinyls are really appreciated and often preferred by musicians. Its also making a tremendous comeback. I kinda like all the formats! Digital for my iPhone and car, cd if I want that pristine "polished" sound, vinyl if I want the authentic analogue experience akin to being in the studio while they record the songs :)
