I almost hear Jonny as a second singer on the new songs...he always seems to complement Chris quite nicely :)

I am taking a pause from Paradise today: I am afraid I will grow tired of it if I keep playing it :) But I think it´s gonna sound amazing on the album between HLH and CB!

I mean Charlie Brown has a chorus that is practically only made up of Jonny´s guitar part...that says it all. And Major Minus ´backbone is 90% Jonny. He is gonna rule in MX :)

I agree totally. I remember the last Oasis album came out as a limited special package too and it cost double what MX costs! I noticed only "all the boys all the girls": great observation! I love when there are neat details like that! :sneaky:

I think people like and dislike songs also with pre-dispositions. Also it might be easier to articulate why you dislike a song than actually explain why you like it in details. Anyway I gave a list of reasons why I like the songs on other threads and I definitely do not like the songs because they are played by Coldplay. I have dropped many an artist because I ended up not liking their newest work, so it would not be a first for me. But I think for a lot of die-hard fans, it´s a bit like being disappointed by someone you love: because of everything wonderful you shared in the past, you want to try your hardest to forgive them or see the best in them.

I think they wanted to prioritize other sounds on Paradise, so they left Jonny´s riff til the end. It is very short, but it is quite beautiful. I am sure he will have plenty more coverage on other songs, as we already heard on MM, HLH,etc..

I like the Viva´s video: it is very colorful. Paradise video will apparently have special effects or something in the background, so my expectations are high now :sneaky:

Yes! That´s my feeling as well. We have not even heard Up In Flames yet (which apparently is Will´s fav song) and there are already SO many songs to love! I definitely think this will be my Coldplay fav album :D

*LOL* At first I was really upset about the delayed release but now that it´s gonna be my Christmas gift, I can allow myself to enjoy the waiting. :) And Mylo will drop in a little over a month so a lot to look forward to!

Unknown 6/10 : Interesting story but does not develop to its full potential in my opinion. Still a nice mystery and Liam Neeson is always excellent
