I actually stopped replying to negative posts about the new material for a while now. Mostly because I can´t be bothered: I simply just want to enjoy the anticipation time we have left until MX drops. IT´s the one chance we all Coldplayers get to be excited together! And we probably won't get that chance again for years to come, so I won´t waste any more time noticing or replying to negative commentary :) Carpe Diem! :jester:

A few people in the forum come across as saying they want stuff like Parachutes: simple, acoustic and/or organic instrumentation, etc, so I guess that´s what the original poster meant.

This is exactly why I think Coldplay are choosing the right way to do things. They could never top their previous album, so they go and make a totally different one :) I find this the best approach to stay relevant as an artist and it gives the fans quite an eclectic catalogue to enjoy for years to come!
