I agree with everything except the humans turning on the aliens. I think the war is between big brother and the rebels and in the end the only hope that remains comes from outer space...regardless it would be an amazing concept album

Pop with those violins? Or maybe you are not down with the hip-hop touches...I can understand that, but pop or hip pop, I still believe a song is good or not. Genres are blending and it is a good thing in my opinion

If the alien theory is true, would this be the first album in history bearing the name of an alien? :O Also, is the alien coming from the future? (Back To The Future being played at the beginning of gigs)

Yes I do remember buying vinyls hehe But I think the two parts theory really fit with the songs as well and the EP for example was representative of the positive part one (ETIAW) and the "negative" part two (Major Minus), so I think there is enough evidence here to justify the speculation of a two-parts concept story :)

So that confirms the part one/part two theory I voiced yesterday. There is no doubt this will be a concept album at this point, not?

I guess this endorses my theory that ETIAW splits the album in half. First part is positive, second part starts with the villain Major Minus

I definitely hope there is nothing about alien abductions (scary!) hehe I still think the aliens are friendly and good. I interpret that sentence as just simply meaning that a sign came from outer space to let our heroes know that help is on its way and everything is gonna be alright.

Yes I see your point. I hope this endless teasing though will result in an even greater appreciation of the final work, once in our hands, plus let´s not forget that we only heard two songs as studio versions (well three with Paradise). That´s not bad, having another 11 brand new studio versions waiting for us.

I still think the central theme is the love story as Chris mentioned. And the alien/s must come from outer space (hopeful transmissions, ETIAW). I am more inclined towards the idea that these two lovers are fighting big brother , face tons of challenges and get a helping hand from outer space, probably ending up leaving the planet or something :) p.s. Love your reference to Kal-EL though. Am a huge fan of Superman :)

Anything is possible but if the aliens are the good guys, I doubt they would look so damn scary :)

At first I was kinda upset about this, but I am maybe beginning to come around and see it as just a gigantic foreplay on their part. We get served morsels of this and that to whet our appetite, until we are absolutely drooling for the complete album! I must say I don´t mind it anymore as much as I did. By the time we get MX in our hands we will be so hyped that we will probably forget all the songs we have already heard :)

I love the cover front and back. How can there be too many colors? It´s like saying there are too many smiles, too much love or too much happiness. hehe I love colors and the more the merrier :)

True, but they did not know it would not be on the album when they wrote it. Plus any b-sides would be part of the concept story as well. :)

I am totally with you, but I consider the 30-seconds preview like reading the jacket of a book to get an idea about the story. :) I highly doubt it will spoil the listening of the full song, but I think both approaches have their pros and cons :)
