1. Nice pun! ^^ :laugh4: Im not sure how others relation to "cutting edge/underground/experimental" music is, but personally I have tried a few times to delve into it a bit and every time Im like "eh I dont hear any melody here...I dont like it". Even the more intricate artists I like tend to always be known ones (like Tori Amos) either globally or locally (danish artists). I can appreciate the cutting edge stuff for all other reasons, intellectual and whatnot, but its not a pleasurable listening experience for me. (Bjork comes to mind as an example, though she is fairly known she is also definitely not mainstream) Conversely though there is a lot of mainstream music everyone raves about that I also dont enjoy...so meh, its a conundrum! I totally agree based on my conclusions that no musical choice can and should be invalidated.
2. "I dont wanna go through life being scared of it"
3.:no::no: "Thou shall eat good food". Its somewhere on the Commandments table...cant remember the exact position LOL
4. Thanks for the warning! And yes Im familiar with traces of gluten possibly being in gluten free products. Here they are quite careful and usually inform you about it. I can say I´ve never reacted to traces of gluten so far, but if I do take a bite of a product made with a flour containing gluten I definitely react. So as long as its only traces, I can handle it apparently. I´ve been having pizzas both from Domino and Pizza Hut with absolutely no reaction, also pastas at various restaurants. So far so good! Ive been intolerant all my life but I only discovered it in 2012. Good I did then because I was practically losing my hair because of it (and TONS of other health problems hitherto unexplained...I was being affected in my brain as well so lets just say I lived in a mental fog for most of my life LOL). Im not sure if it gets worse or better. Ive heard some people say they tolerate gluten again after a few years off it, others who say their sensitivity increases, so not sure. I personally react the same as before (the 2 times I accidentally ate it!), but I noticed that my body has gotten so much better at identifying the gluten but also my body is much stronger and I recovered relatively quicker from it.
5. *mind blown* :stunned::whaaat::wreck: I had heard you people existed...I´d never met one before though. Take me to your leader *LOL*
6. Thought perhaps you might be interested in this, just posted now. Why Coldplay have changed Mobile Link: https://twitter.com/ColdplayAtlas/status/686271933097336832
7. A good info for all Coldplayers, new and old Why Coldplay have changed Mobile Link: https://twitter.com/ColdplayAtlas/status/686271933097336832
8. This was most fitting for this thread (and maybe we should post it on the Oldplayers thread too, what do you think? hehe) Why Coldplay have changed Mobile Link: https://twitter.com/ColdplayAtlas/status/686271933097336832
9. Im thinking I cant wait to listen to this on my vinyl player. Its bound to be a different experience also because the mix or a vinyl is not the same as the CD mix. I remember when listening to Another Arms or other tracks from GS, they were drowned/muffled by the production on the CD, but on the vinyl they maintained a crystal organic sound, so its definitely something else!
10. It is indeed...I think only the utmost most loyal fans will pass that test....I won't be among them LOL
11. LOL I hear ya! Ive not eaten a lasagna in 3 years. Im allergic to gluten, so I must always steer clear. I get more than digestive problems if I even touch it, my brain just goes MIA for a whole day too haha Lets just say there is hell to pay, so I never make an exception, however I do make it for cheese sometimes :) And also Im gorging on gluten free pizzas and pasta now that Im in the USA haha :) Luckily there are more and more gluten alternatives for us
12. Cheers to my fellow Coldplayers in France! I love your country , been there twice and hope to return soon! I apologise for posting in english but my written french is by now nearly non-existent hehe I can read most of it though so thats why I peeked into this thread. I hope its ok :) and @Coeurli : is that interview on Virgin Radio streaming somewhere online? Id love to see it
13. Yes....its that ultimate test isn't it? hehe Im pretty sure I already failed it LOL If its any consolation I dont think Chris would choose Coldplay *LOOOOL*
14. Jedi Leo replied to appleguyjoe's topic in Coldplay
But Jesus you can find songs like those in any artists album haha (Adele, Im looking at you....). I think its a case of something gone viral back then which is still stuck in people´s perception of Coldplay (or the media still perpetrating it anyway). Tagging someone with a certain label takes so little time, removing that tag can be next to impossible...:/
15. Yes I find a lot of other artists charge more. My VIVA tickets have all but faded to blank paper hehe I´ve not been lucky with preserving tickets or similar so far.
16. I like that! haha
17. It may very well be logical, I totally believe you, but Im not following your logical path, Im apparently stranded on another one haha Because I thought you said A=B (or D apparently), so how can now A equal C? :) Unless you mean that the letter C in your previous riddle stands for the word "Adventure"? If so, does each letter stand for a word connected to the solution of the riddle? Also 42 minus 1.36 = 40,64....are these minutes? surely not the length of the track LOL But not even the length of an album? I dont think Coldplay made an album shorter than 42 minutes? *finished eating Nutella* lol
18. Nutella may well have been numbing my neurons...(lets face it I eat a lot of it LOL), but... From A=B and B=C follows A=B and C=D If A=D then C=E Also, C=B What?? :speechless::whaaat: So C is equal to D and E and B....oh ok, all clear now , *not* LOL
19. Hehe yes! However I noticed Coldplay tickets are much cheaper than other artists, so thats good they keep them affordable :) Im a fan of Madonna since I was a child, but I´ve never gone to one of her concerts and I probably never will because I think the price is a disgrace. And hey how do you keep your tickets so intact? Mine always fade so the ink disappears after a few months :/ Any tips?
20. Mine show up every time I check the app as I tend to close it when Im not using it, so I open it several times a day :/
21. I´ll go ahead and start.... Im eating Nutella sandwich for breakfast...because I can! :sneaky::sneaky: Nutella is one of the best inventions ever....nuff said.
22. I dont you know guys...but I looooove food! Im thinking Im not the only one... :sneaky: I do enjoy the "What are you thinking" thread. Its nice to post small things from our non-Coldplay related daily life to share with other Coldplayers , so why not food? :) It´s not only nice to see, but maybe we get inspiration from each other on new dishes :) So share what you´re eating right now! :) Pictures are welcome as well! I added a little poll so you can test yourself and see if you´re a true Coldplay fan. *lol*
23. Yes, I wanna thank you guys for making this app as well! Its great! I have one suggestion...could you perhaps consider releasing it as a paid version without the ads as well as the free version with ads we have now? I´d be willing to pay some for it to be ad-free. Maybe others would as well?
