[2016-02-07] Coldplay headlining Super Bowl 2016 - Confirmed
I get people not liking the Super Bowl halftime show and not wanting Coldplay on it. But Coldplay themselves have said how much this means to them so I think it's not very nice to wish they'd been cancelled ...

They are slightly cheaper here , but I would not say by much. The way I see it, since I buy only 1 pair and it may be say $150, divided by the average time of use for me (24 months), its little over $6 a month, so thats totally worth it for me! :D

Comics: Anyone?
I´d love to revive this thread, if there are some comic book readers/fans in here :)

26 minus 11 was the clue. 26 is the total number of letters in the alphabet, If you subtract 11 you get 15. The 15th letter of the alphabet is O. The clue "24 & 25" was of course X&Y so that it would be understood that the numbers in clue one refer to the placement of letters in the alphabet....

Coldplay fan poll details how albums are favored by fans, by /r/coldplay
I also first heard of them from Parachutes (Yellow, Spies, Dont panic, Shiver mostly), so that holds special memories for me as well, but its the only album I never listen to from beginning to end. Its mood is just too slow. I still listen to some songs from it though as stand-alones.

AOAL Music Video (Out Nov 27th)
I always kinda liked Jonathan Ross the few times I watched his interviews. He has some crass comments sometimes but so does (or did) David Letterman and many others. Its not uncommon to drop a "non-policatally correct" comment or two to shock the audience and cause a laugh...as long as its not overdone, I dont mind it.

Interesting ! Thanks for that info. And you dont dip considerably in your personal "fortune" to pay for a business investment unless absolutely necessary. Good to keep the two separated imo. I would also have rather made an exception for that one video and accepted product placement. Its ok if its only ONE time and no more...if it happened again, it would certainly taint their reputation.

That would be quite different, buddy! That would be a mortal sin and you´d be expelled by the Coldplaying community *LOL*

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I have a low end vinyl player so it would sound like crap :/ I´d say buy a low end vinyl player and give it a listen :) Its totally worth it even if its not hi fi gear. http://coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?threads/setlist-for-the-lp7-tour.102889/page-6 There might be others though, not sure. I think thats the one.

They aer expensive anywhere I think hehe (Maybe slightly cheaper in the States). Im a huge snicker fan, but I basically only buy one really good pair and wear them out after a couple of years, then buy a new pair. Its 2016 so Im soon due for new ones! :sneaky:

AHFOD Music Chart / Sales STATS & FACTS Thread
I found this on the Barnes & Noble music section : A Head Full of Dreams, by Coldplay For this, their seventh studio album, Coldplay pulled out all the stops and collaborated with Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, and Merry Clayton, among others. They even sampled President Barack Obama singing “Amazing Grace.” They meant business this time around, and the sales reflect that; while the album’s chart position was upended by Adele in several markets, A Head Full of Dreams brought Coldplay their highest first-week album sales since 2008. The band said from the start that this album was going to be “colorful and uplifting,” and they deliver on that, from the jaunty, world-music flute melody in “Adventure of a Lifetime” to the piano-driven “Everglow,” which also features uncredited guest vocals from Gwyneth Paltrow.

= Coldplay Record/CD Collectors' Thread =
Oh your collection looks great! I like the vintage look as well. I live in Denmark. We occasionally get local Spiderman comics and we have Donald Duck, but other than that nothing. Imagine my face when I stepped into a proper comic book store here in the USA! Wow one of the best days of my life *lol* Rigt now Im reading : Star Wars, Darth Vader, Amazing Spider-Man, Superman: Alien, Superman 52, Lois & Clark, Avengers. I mean to get the X-Files season 10 but have not had time to make a proper list of old comics to buy yet. I also read the respective annuals which were fun :) I wanted to get Thor, but its a woman so Im skipping it *lol* What series do you follow?

24 & 25 is "x & y". The numbers are the positions of the letters in the alphabet. Conversely 26 is the total numbers of letters in the alphabet. If you subtract 11 as noted in the first clue you get 15. The 15th letter of the alphabet is "O" and that's the answer to the riddle.

No Im not :/ I must confess I´ve only just begun buying comics, because well we dont have them where I live. I´ve been in the USA a couple of months now and I spent a small fortune on my first batch of comics of all sorts, Marvel and DC and DWI hehe Im loving it! :) I dont collect per se, but I love reading comics :) are you a collector? Whats your favourite/s?

True the media people should do more research , but I´d say cut them some slack hehe Think of all the musicians, actors, celebrities and whatnot they need to keep track of :)

Eventually you guys would have figured out it was the alphabet position, but I thought of making clue 2 quite revealing, because my riddle was only meant as a short interim, because it is your turn to make a riddle, not mine :)
