White Lies
Saw them on saturday. It was OK. Not 'great' yet though, but still looking forward to hearing their debut album.

Radiohead
I really hope Radiohead will make a good effort randomly releasing one or two EP's next year including fully new songs, and continue touring with that. It would be a waste if they decided to disappear for a couple of years once again.

'Lost' third single due on 8th september ?
Well, considering X&Y has had 6 singles in total (official: Speed Of Sound, Fix You, Talk, The Hardest Part, un-official/local releases only: What If, White Shadows), I wouldn't be surprised if a 5th (un-official) single popped up some time next year...

The Dark Knight
Well, they can translate it and claim it's a Korean guy. They might just buy that ;)

The Dark Knight
It might beat Titanic's US record, but it won't even come near it's worldwide record.

Idlewild
Granted, 100 Broken Windows and The Remote Part are equally brilliant albums. I wish they'd be making more albums like that.

I agree. But I don't care.

Radiohead
Sure, they might have disappeared from the 'hit charts', but Radiohead is still huge. And I'm sure they will remain huge until the day they decide to call it a day. Just look at their devoted fanbase. I honestly think they have managed to gather the most devoted fanbase on the planet. U2 and Coldplay have a bigger fanbase, but as far as the word 'devoted' goes I think Radiohead beats them hands down.

Viva La Vida music videos! (Videos in first post)
Honestly, how can anybody hate the Hype Williams video? It's beautiful with the album artwork covering the air. Well done to its director. But I agree, the Anton Corbijn spoof is genious.

The Dark Knight
Do you really have to 'shout'?

VLV VIDEO COMING SOON!
It would be silly if their biggest hit to date didn't have a video, innit? So hell yes, I want to see a video!! :D

Radiohead Live??
They are planning a South America tour in march/april next year. So they might drop by Australia around that time as well...
-
Radiohead Live??
Saw them ten times. I don't pay bucketloads of cash for a band who's either crap or mediocre live. So yeah, Radiohead are a brilliant live band.

The Dark Knight
You mean, both his first and second face? :D

The Dark Knight
While doing press for The Dark Knight, Gary Oldman (Lt. James Gordon) alluded that the Riddler could be the villain in the proposed third film. So yes, I guess that will be true. I prefer The Riddler to the likes of The Penguin and Catwoman (also rumoured) myself. Jim Carrey did an ok job in the average Batman Forever (2005), but I'm certain its character can and will be bettered by Nolan. The Riddler is kinda like The Joker, though not as 'demonic' as some like to refer to him. The Penguin is ok, but I kinda hate the fact that he always carries umbrellas with gadgets around. That's just silly and not really in Nolan's league. I think I've read a quote from Nolan somewhere that he doesn't have the intention of adding a Penguin storyline to his Batman series. I really hope Nolan will ditch the idea of using the Catwoman character, though she's obviously one of Batman's most well-known opponents. But I think we've seen too much of her already, especially thanks to the horrific 2004 Halle Berry adaption. Bane would be cool. Its character appeared in Batman & Robin, but Joel Schumacher really f*cked up that movie, including all characters in it (especially Bane). Or Black Mask, but I guess he's not too well-known in the villains list, is he? Nolan could also use Harley Quinn, The Joker's most famous accomplice. But that means Nolan will have to get himself another Joker for the 3rd film. But yeah, I prefer The Riddler myself. And The Joker, but only if they can find the right person to follow-up Heath Ledger's amazing performance.

The Dark Knight
It doesn't happen too often that I want to see the same movie in the cinema twice, but I really want to see TDK again... That's a really, really good sign :)

Viva La Vida - CD Single Retail Official release
That's a bit poor innit? They could've at least added a live b-side or A Spell A Rebel Yell...

The Dark Knight
I honestly feel sorry for his ex-wife and kids. It must feel horrible for them everyone (and I mean every 'friggin' one on the entire planet!!!) is raving this movie, and Heath's part in it. I don't think they'll ever be able to enjoy this movie's success and the massive hype surrounding it. In fact, it must be devastating. I'll be seeing the movie tomorrow by the way, and I can't wait to see it.
