  1. Do you have it, by any chance? Or anybody else in here?
  2. I never had a strong feeling Radiohead would win, but with In Rainbows they might just have a fairly big chance. Dunno why, maybe because of the massive hype surrounding its release, and the way they chose to release it. If they won't win though, I bet Estelle will. Not because I like her stuff, but just it 'feels' like she could win.
  3. That's exactly my opinion. They haven't made a really, really great album (or: a masterpiece) yet, but OOS comes close. I still have faith in them though. They can still make their 'perfect' album.
  4. Ow wow, Fran turned 35. And I'm too late :(
  5. RHCP were once very exciting and refreshing. But now they're just plain boring. I mean, they still release some good tunes every once in a while, but the majority is just.... dull.
  6. In Rainbows, because it was my favourite album of 2007. And I'm not sure Viva La Vida... is my favourite album of this year.
  7. In Bruges 8/10 Good movie, with great characters and ditto dialogues.
  8. Currently ranked #1 in IMDB Top 250 movies of all time with nearly 47,000 votes That... is.... just.... INSANE!! I have to see this movie!!!
  9. Jeez. That just a hint meaning another HP movie is coming soon.
  10. Pretty much every album is good to start with, except maybe 'Monster' (has its moments) and 'Around The Sun' (arguably their worst). I'd start with 'Murmur' though, if I were you. It's their debut album, and it's a great one. First album I heard was 'Out Of Time' though, and I've grown to become a huge fan since, so I guess that's a good one to start with as well. Oh, have I mentioned having met Michael Stipe a couple of weeks ago? Nice geezer.
  11. "What if my extensions fall out?" OK, that had me in stitches for about 6,5 seconds.
  12. Coldplay will still be huge in 10 years time. They might be the biggest band in the world, but I guess that depends whether U2 are still around or not...
  13. Seriously? It's a 3-hour movie? F*cking hell. :o
  14. 2+2=5 and Wolf at the door? 2+2=5 didn't have an official video, except a live version which was often aired on MTV2. And AWATD? I doubt that.
  15. Andy Yorke - Simple
  16. Radiohead are planning a tour in South America for the first time in 15 years in March/Arpil 2009. Dunno if there are any people here from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and the likes, but I think it's cool the 'Head are finally touring there.
  17. Everybody should definitely check out Unbelievable Truth's (his old band) debut album 'Almost Here'. I fell in love with it first time I heard it. Definitely buying Andy's debut solo album this month.
  18. Yeah, I told Ed that I loved the Amsterdam gig the day before and that it's probably in the Top 3 gigs I've seen them play so far. Then he asked me how many times I've seen them (9) and when I saw them live first (Nijmegen, Netherlands, 2000) He was really nice. I just gave Colin the thumbs up though, because he was in a hurry getting somewhere else. But he did gave me the thumbs up back.
  19. I bumped into Ed and Colin at a R.E.M. gig on wednesday. *shock* I met two out of five of my heroes!!!
  20. Ouch. That is soooo NOT true. I bet even Chris Martin himself will agree with me here.
  21. It was released in Belgium, and I ordered it at the time.
  22. 1. Violet Hill 2. Viva La Vida 3. Lovers In Japan 4. Lost! You'll see...
  23. No, but still: happy ;)
  24. Pre-ordered the new (limited edition) vinyl single today. I'm a happy little man.
