I'm lazy, so I'm going to somewhat quote my own Twitter to share random Coldplay thoughts (I usually post them there). One evening the shops in my city were open late for Christmas shopping, so I was in a shopping street. I heard Coldplay blasted loudly from a speaker in the shopping street; Hurts Like Heaven. I suddenly got chills all over. It was AMAZING. Lots of people in the street, a child and her mum danced to it walking by, christmas lights above the street... It was beautiful. I just stood there miming the lyrics, taking in the atmosphere until the song ended. I was having a hard time too, so it really brightened up my day. It gets better: H&M played HLH too the same evening! What's up, it's not even a single! One morning my mum submitted her music wish for local radio on my old island (the place I've grown up) - Christmas Lights. They played it. ♥ After the news break they played The Pogues "Fairytale of New York", which is another great Christmas song and Will's and Chris' favourite. The same couple as in the video above just got married. It's like the royal wedding of YouTube. It really shows how big of a Coldplay fan the woman Alli Speed is: From 0:17 you can hear Yellow, then In My Place. :awesome: :heart: I'm totally going to steal that idea of having a violinist and cello player (?) playing Coldplay songs if I get married some day. :wacky: In My Place is totally appropriate and as you can see from my username, I really like that song. :D I hope that my future spouse likes Coldplay. :P Edit: another video showed a DJ desk and no string players, so not really live. :P Charles Trippy, the groom, put a video up that shows the wedding with a cover of Fix You.

I was in a tiny shop in Barcelona that sold wallets, pocket knives, funnny little bags and things when Sparks suddenly comes out of some speakers. :stunned: I think it was played from a docked iPod. It was awesome. I've heard Coldplay in lots of shops. Particularly in my former local H&M; like every other time I was there. One time I was in a dressing room in H&M to try on a mainly yellow dress when ETIAW suddenly comes on. Needless to say, the dress was perfect and I bought it. :) In a break at my high school I've heard Lost! blasted through the door of one of the classrooms. Usually there would never be anyone playing music through speakers. I've been to a clothing shop in Covent Garden that played the whole VLVODAAHF album. I was so glad my sister tried on clothes so I could stay there for a while and mouth the lyrics. :P

Friday I heard Paradise in a supermarket inside a shopping center. :) Ouch, I just lost some respect for Dot Marie Jones who plays coach Beiste on Glee. She's clearly talking about Coldplay as you can see she's talking about SNL on her timeline. She's obviously not one of the Coldplay fans on Glee. Btw, she writes everything in ALL CAPS, she's not extra angry or anything. :P

I just watched Chris on Jimmy Fallon (via the link Phil posted on Twitter). Hilarious! :lol: Chris is also quite gorgeous as ever. :wacky: His smile the whole time is breathtaking. :D I like how he handles questions on Gwyneth with jokes these days. Fallon also seemed to accept just a joke and not dig into the subject. :)

I also think that their signatures might have changed with time as these are some of the first. doritji, you have a point about the Wikipedia facts. Although, maybe she just couldn't remember the specifics? About the note, I could see myself writing a similar thing if I was in Jonny's position, especially if my cousin insistently asked for it. :P
