Ummm ok "insert RUDE COMMENT" to everyone who doesn't listen to it from start to finish. It was meant that way.

Will Mylo Xyloto leak? ** EFFECTIVE 16-10 LINKS NOT PERMITTED ** (PART I)
I'm actually really surprised that it hasn't leaked yet, with this anticipation and the listening sessions I thought it would've found a way to the internet by now.

I Miss Lovers in Japan
42 !!!!! The other day I was listening to the LRLRL version, forgot how amazing this is live. The middle part is still one of the best things they've ever done, period. BRING IT BACK!

Is This the Most Hate?
lyrical depth? coldplay have always been bad with lyrics (expect maybe some few songs on VLV). come on. i also don't get the synth sound - pop accusations. in paradise they simply incorporated some nice synths within their sound. I mean it's all still there, the piano, the guitar (at the end). And it's not like they turned from alternative rock to pop with this phase. They have always been the most pop of rock bands and knew that. I don't get all the hate surrounding this phase - I mean let's compare it to X&Y which really was a too long, unimaginative and structure-repeating combination of tracks. In that phase they were only trying to recreate what made them big - and totally hit the lowpoint of their career for me (except some songs like of course Fix You..) - with Mylo Xyloto they're definetely trying to recreate their sound, which is, like it or not, a good thing.

Coldplay Interview at Edge Rock of Fame Induction (Toronto)
At least Coldplay have admitted that! Radiohead (while one of my favorite bands) also were HEAVILY influenced by Jeff Buckley's Grace when making The Bends, just saying...

Female vocal? ** UPDATED - It's Rihanna **
i am pretty excited for this! collaborations can be such a great thing (take Gorillaz for example), plus Rihanna's not a bad singer at all. Plus, to everyone complaining that Coldplay have gone too mainstream or pop: Coldplay have always been a POP band. ALWAYS. They were mainstream all the time, don't pretend else. Only now they're incorporating more synths instead of acoustic guitars, what's the problem? I mean listen to FUCKING YELLOW or SCIENTIST - it's all C O M M E R C I A L.

Coldplay's Twitter
speaking of paradise, why isn't #Paradise trending worldwide yet?

Female vocal? ** UPDATED - It's Rihanna **
she's very good at singing hooks!

Up with the birds - a duet with Leonard Cohen?
Sample is more likely than an actual duet. They would've announced that with the tracklisting I guess, plus I don't think they would put a collaboration as a closing track.

Who else is pissed that this didn't make it on the MX track listing?
like everyone i love the whole piano opening of MTM, but the pink-floyd part with the full band is only ok. i'm not upset or anything that it didn't make it on MX, I'm not so passionate about this song.

A Hopeful Transmission
man that would be awesome

no "coloured" title
omg shoot me this is pretty embarassing please lock this
-
no "coloured" title
Umm we've had Yellow Green Eyes White Shadows Violet Hill. And no "Golden Arrow" on the tracklisting - so it is the first Coldplay album not to feature a "coloured" title. (Unless GA ends up being a hidden track, but yeah they've already got 14 tracks, they can't put EVERYTHING on, can they?)

Abstaining from new material until album release?
yeah i'll listen to paradise (like everyone when it's going on the radio). but i'll try not to listen to DLIBYH and UIF.
-
Official Tracklist!!!
omg wow really hope some of those are short/and or instrumentals. part of why VLV worked so well was its length and I hope they don't fuck this up ala X&Y. KEEP IT SHORT AND SIMPLE! but fuck yeah tracklisting !!!!
-
Guess what Paradise would sound like..
Well we do know now that it will feature a guitar solo!
-
The Tracklisting
i guess UATW+ETIAW are gonna go back to back. the former's outro just perfectly fades into the latter's intro,

Although I don't really get the comparison, it's pretty awesome to see a LCD Soundsystem reference pop up in a Coldplay track review. - Coldplay in Rolling Stone: Reviews of New Songs
