  1. I say the feeling is what I will miss most. The feeling the band, the music, the tour, the outfits, the butterflies, the roadie blog, and so forth brought to the fans.
  2. Yeah, I am about to leave. I have to finish making those CDs for Carla. It was for her b-day back in July but I have been too busy with so much work, school, and drama that I haven't had time to finish them. I got her something else (Coldplay related for her b-day) that I'm sure she would like. Well, I hope I can get back on here again soon and we can talk. There's so much I want to tell you Wise Crests. LOL!!
  3. I've been thinking about this for some time because this is a difficult decision to make but here are my top 5. 1) Lovers In Japan 2) Viva la Vida 3) Lost (not the version with Jay-Z) 4) 42 5) Life in Technicolor
  4. LOL!! Isn't that typical of Bayern? No one else exists in the world but them. I am a Bayern fan. I grew up watching them because of my mom, though I must say that they can piss me off so I understand your dislike. LOL!!
  5. I'm with the others who say they are more honest here than at work or at school. I think it is just so much easier to tell someone the truth without having to look into their face. Actually, I don't think I say anything if I know it will hurt someone. Unless I am pushed, I normally wait until someone else to says something. Now, what I can't stand are people who lie and/or won't say anything when asked even if it's not face to face.
  6. This past year has been wonderful for me and I am so grateful that I was able to enjoy this year with Coldplay's wonderful music and some wonderful people here at Coldplaying.com. It sad to see the VLV tour end but I am grateful that I was able to see them twice while also getting a special suprise at one of the concerts. The era may be over but the music lives on and that I find comfort in. I am sure they will come back better than ever with the next CD and a new tour, and I will be waiting for them.
  7. Crests!!! Thanks for the b-day wish.
  8. I did but I was not that impressed and that may be because of a certain character. I did not watch the spinoff. It just doesn't look that interesting to me.
  9. No, I have been too busy. This is the first time I have had a real break from everything, as you can tell since this is my first time posting like crazy. LOL!!
  10. I can hear my mom telling me not to spend the money on Coldplay. LOL!! I can hear her telling me to spend it on something useful. Well, spending money is Coldplay is useful. I need more Coldplay stuff. Oh get this...I think the state has approved my application for a license plate that reads Coldplay. LOL!! I'll find out soon.
  11. LOL!! True, so true.

I've always liked the song, but I think the meaning and emotion of the song really shows through in the piano version than the original version. Listening to the song in concert one can really feel the emotion of the lyrics. Of course, the way Chris sings it really hits the heart. He sings it with more sadness that it touches the soul. The piano version, IMO, makes you wanna stop and think. It's simply a beautiful song.
  13. Guess what I got for my b-day? Money from my parents. :) Now I can buy more Coldplay merchandise. :laugh3:
  14. Happy Birthday from a fellow birthday gal! :)
  15. You guys are so sweet. Thank you all very much for the birthday wishes!! :)
  16. LOL!! Why can't Bayern Munich play it after a goal? LOL!!
  17. Thank you so very much, Lydia. I really appreciate it. :)
  18. I think it is a wonderful idea, Lore. I know when I sent a postcard to Carla that it cost lost than a dollar. So I know a card would not cost too much more, but it depends on the location that it is going to and the weight of the envelope.
  19. I love Disney films. I could watch over and over again. My favs are: The Rescuers The Rescuers Down Under Beauty and the Beast - My all-time fav movie The Lion King Cinderella The Little Mermaid Bambi The Fox and the Hound - this movie is more heart wrenching than Bambi. Tarzan Mulan Pocahontas The Hunchback of Notre Dame - Disney's first movie that was geared for the older population. Plus, it had some awesome music. Lady and the Tramp
  20. Just because both parties settled and the case was dismissed does not mean that money was handed over. First of all, the case was dismissed without prejudice which means Joe can not sue Coldplay. Secondly, remember those videos of those songs that came out before "I'm Gonna Fly" which "I'm Gonna Fly" sounded like? Wasn't that handed over to Coldplay's legal team? That could have been thrown in Joe's face and he might've figured that he would have to fight two battles - one proving Coldplay ripped off his song and the other being that he didn't rip off those artists. Unfortunately, when a case is settled behind closed doors people assume the defendent is guilty and that money is handed over, and that is not necessarly true.
  21. I just watched the season finale of Criminal Minds. That was one heck of an episode. I can't wait until next week's season premiere of the show. It looks awesome!

Both societies had their advantages and disadvantages. For a woman, neither society really would have been the idea place but that was how it wa during those times. Athens was home to the "idea" of democracy though it did not practice it. However, their contributions to art and philosophy is undeniable. Sparta was a very strong society and could hold its on, but was lacking on other parts like family (boys removed to train for the military). Of course, Athens was not the greatest on the family idea either but not as bad as Sparta. So, it really is a toss-up between the two. Personally, I would rather live at Delphi. LOL!!
  23. One of my favorite episodes is when they go to a football (soccer) match to see which country (Mexico or Portugal) is the best in the world and it starts a riot. To protect his family Homer buys a gun at Blood Bath and Beyond. LOL!!! The part where he is waiting for the waiting period to buy a gun is over is funny. He is just sitting there while the Target sign, Ned, a row of ducks, and Selma and Patty pass him by while The Waiting by Tom Petty is playing. Best lines are Salesman -"Surely, you can't put a price on your family" and Homer's response, "I didn't think so either, but here we are." The lines from Bart and Lisa where they are having a race between their beds and they say, "C'mon smelly" and "C'mon stinky" are funny. Selma says, "We have a gentleman visitor" and the TV repairman says, "Hey! This TV is just unplugged!" and Selma closes the door quickly. Actually, there are a lot of funny scenes in this episode. Too many to name. BTW...Vote Quimby!!
