I was wondering if anyone can help me on this problem....I have been trying to create a banner using Photoshop CS3. I get so far as to transforming an image onto the banner but when I try to insert some text, the text does not show up on the banner but it shows up on the palette. Actually, it does show up on the banner but it is so freaking small that you can not see it at all. You have to use the magnifying glass to enlarge it over and over just to see it. I have used the highest points, the bolder fonts, and so forth but it still does not show up like it should. If I would type some text on a normal picture it shows up but it won't show up on this banner. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix it? I have been messing around with this for the past two days and I've just about had it. Thanks!!

Fixed your post, again. The name of the band, the website, and everything else is COLDPLAY. I do not know why it is so hard for someone to type the word COLDPLAY when the word is spelled for them throughout this site. :rolleyes: Copy the word and then paste it everytime you need to mention the band in any post. You want to be taken serioulsy? Then stop playing around.

I did not get any Coldplay presents for Christmas. :cry: My family firmly believes that if I want anything of Coldplay then I should buy it myself. Well, when my money comes in next month then I am going on Coldplay shopping spree.

I knew I was uncool because I just happen to like a lot of artists that are considered to be "uncool". I don't know why that is but there are a lot of artists that folks want to label as nerdy, uncool, gay, and so forth. It's so bad that many fans will not say aloud that they like a particular artist. Personally, I don't think I am uncool. I actually think I am cool, very smart, and brave for having the guts to proudly say I am a fan of Coldplay. So, I guess I've been out of the closet for a long time. LOL!!

Your English is not completely accurate. You need to reread your posts so you can determine if you are forming your sentences accurately. I work with ELL students (English Language Learners) and they do a better job at the language than you. Perhaps that is because they know the band's name is COLDPLAY and not Cold Game? The band is known as Coldplay throughout the world but yet you can not even address them correctly. BTW....English does not have to be one's native language in order to get one's thoughts across effectively.

You can mail him/her/it 8 million dollars so that he/she/it can learn how to say "Coldplay" and not "Cold Game" and to improve their English. LOL!!!

I have to say that this made me laugh so hard that I almost fell out of my chair. It's so funny but in a good way. But look at the bright side...at least Coldplay received fewer votes than the Jonas Brothers. I'm not surprised about them being on the list. Since it's Ultimate Guitar I am sure fans of Joe Satriani voted for them.

I'm sure they'll perform. I was just curious since the poster said that they heard that Coldplay were going to perform. I would say that the announcement as to who will be performing will be coming out in the next two to three weeks.

I also want Lost but I rather not have Jay-Z with them since I don't think he's rap is all that good in the song. However, I can see them performing it with Jay-Z because he is also nominated (5 times?) and the Grammys tend to like performances where two totally different music acts perform together.

Where did you hear that they were going to perform at the Grammys? I haven't heard or read anything that they were one of the performers at this year's Grammys. The only performance concected to the Grammys is the Neil Diamond tribute that they'll performing at. Not to say that they won't perform but the Grammys have not made any announcement concerning any who is performing.

They might performed (if they are asked to perform) Viva La Vida but I would think they might not perform that song because of the lawsuit. The Grammys might ask them to stay away from that song and that is understandable. Of course, if they perform VLV then that would be a smack in Joe's face and that's ok with me. I would have to say that they'll perform either Lovers in Japan (minus the butterflies), Violet Hill, or Lost. I would like it if they perform Lost because it's a jamming song that did not get the recognition or play that it truly deserved. Anyhoo, we still have over a month to go before the ceremony so it's really a guessing game at this moment.

I'm hoping someone there will record the performance or a video is made of their performance because I don't think this ceremony will be aired on TV.

Deep Purple - the Heavy Metal One-Hit Wonder band. They are only famous because of the song Smoke on the Water. The funny thing is the guitar rift in that song was neither written nor performed by Joe. LOL!! He didn't join the band until the '90s so it makes sense that a majority of the people would not be familiar with him. LOL!!

A little off topic here but it seems suing musicians for copyright infringement seems to be common among the top Grammy nominees. I just read that Lil' Wayne, who has 8 nominations, is also being sued. However, he has two lawsuits against him. What is interesting about the lawsuits against him is the timing of the lawsuits. Both of the lawsuits against Lil' Wayne were filed early in the year not months after the CD came out but about a month after, while Joe waits months and months before he files suit. Though not the best thing to do but it does make one wonder about Joe's intention and so forth when one compares the timing of his lawsuit with other similair lawsuits.

Yeah. Neil Diamond wrote the song and recorded it and then the Monkees recorded it and made it more popular. It was then rerecored by Smash Mouth for the movie Shrek and they f**ked up the song badly. I was thinking they maybe they should sing Cracklin Rosie or Red, Red Wine since Guy likes to drink. Those are Neil's song about alcohol. LOL!!
