It wont be number 1 in the uk next week because of florence and then that xfactor group are releasing theirs, but hopefully it will stick around the top 5 for a few weeks yet. Does anyone know how many countries it went to number 1 in? Did they break the record? Will also be interesting to see US sales

i dont understand, theyre playing in certain stadiums like manchester up until december but that isnt the official tour is it? When is the main huge tour going to be announced? Noel Gallagher announced his 2 weeks ago and he only released his album one week before coldplay so im hoping its soon, it has to be. I hope they dont just do a bunch of US stadiums and forget about their homeland lol.

Epic! But his voice sounds distorted for some reason, like i cant make up some of the words he is singing, thats the only fault of the song, but its one of my favs on the whole album.

mine is viva and i voted for that as that was when i discovered them, seeing the itunes advert with viva la vida blaring on it and i absolutely love the album, i could play it from start to finish without having the urge to skip a track. AROBTTH comes close though, then x&y and MX, then parachutes

Also, the crap reviews its been getting hasnt helped the sales cause either. I cant see this album lasting pace, not in this country anyway.

The reason is not selling that much as the previous albums is cos the previous albums had brilliant singles released along with the album, this one hasnt.

Yh but viva la vida had an unbelievable single released at the same time as the album. Paradise isnt exactly an unbelievable song. Viva la vida was what made that album sell big in its first week

the beat ruins this, it couldve been like life is for living maybe with just chris and his piano, and the song wouldve been much better, but its still good. But will seems to make some bad decisions lol, including not thinking clocks is a good song

Is coldplay going to get the number 1 spot in the albums charts in the US because i read on eonline that kelly clarkson has also released her album and that she might beat them? Is this true, can anyone from america tell us if they are on course to get a number 1 in the US and when it is officially released. The UK charts are released on the sunday evening but when do you find out the latest US chatrs for the previous week? Is it also on a sunday?(E.g. a monday uk time)

im actually liking this album now, its always on repeat on my ipod, its just badly produced! the sound doesnt come out right, like in HLH his voice becomes distorted as he's singing. and the albums lacks direction whereas viva felt like an album, this feels like very good songs all just randomly put together. but the songs are good, their isnt one i dont like.

tbh, i dont think there was a chance of them getting more than two songs in the official top 10 us charts. Thats completely unheard of these days, but hopefully they break records with the album sales with this record and POC gets them a number 1

Cant say anymore other than that really, its on absolute radio now. Not sure myself what it really is as ive just turned it on myself, I think its just someone who's followed coldplay on tour

I know, i couldnt get tickets the last time either, and this could be their last tour seeing as chris says this will be their last album( I know, I know, he says that everytime lol). They should go on a tour though, just need to know when so i can get the tickets quickly lol, so i dont miss out again.

I loved the viva era! This new era doesnt match up to it, with all the graffiti and that but the new songs are ok, but long live Viva!
