I pray this is not MX part 2 like I have been hearing. MX is their worst album by far.

Chris Martin is a fan of one direction also. I really hope this isn't just an album full of pop songs. I want the best!

This album better go back to what Coldplay were! I mean I like the new albums and that but they will never get close to what AROBTTH was. That album was beautiful. I want a scientist type song, I want the beauty to be shown in their songs. Not stuff like sky full of stars and every teardrop is a waterfall! I know but i read that some duo are catching them up in the uk. And most people have bought the album now so i hope that duo dont get number 1 instead

Isnt 365k in the first week in the usa quite low? Im sure MX sold 550k in its first week there? I hope they get number 1 in the uk here. Number 1 in both the uk and usa hopefully

I cant stop listening to this album. I love every song, even magic and midnight and i didnt like those songs as singles but they fit with the album. Its one of there best albums.

They cant take out scientist, yellow, viva, fix you. Those stay forever. God put a smile on your face should go along with clocks.

Its the worst rated coldplay album ever. I cant see any grammy awards or other awards for the album as they go on what critics say and how its accepted. Ive been a long enough coldplay fan to know theyll never be accepted by the critics. They could write a song like stairway to heaven and theyd still think its rubbish. I cant see why its getting so many bad reviews as its actually a really good album but oh well

It doesnt really matter what the critics say or how the album is perceived by the media, it only matters about sales and it looks like the boys are smashing it. Lets hope they sell more this week than they did in the first week of MX.

The bonus songs on the target release are better than some of the songs on the actual album. Like true love can be replaced by ghost story. All your friends is brilliant too and could easily be on the album. 11 songs for an album is perfect, dont know why these were left out

Its a good to brilliant song but the best ever? Nowhere near. Not even close. The scientist completely blows it away. Plus, ghost story is a better song The piano on the song is awesome though.

Great song but why the need for the bells at the end. Ruining the song. Who wants to hear a whole minute of a bell and water.

Ive only heard this song once but straight away as soon as i heard jonnys riff i knew it was off. Why would they intentionally do that, it doesnt good at all. The first note in the riff is way off. Its the sound the guitar would make if i was playing it

Just listened to the album for the first time and i quite like it. Obviously its not their best album, nowhere near it but its still good. But there are criticisms. Like jonnys solo on true love is just weird lol, its like hes playing a whole different song and its just out of place. Or he hit the wrong note lol. Also, what is that crap on the end of oceans? It goes on for like a minute, totally ruining the song. Trying to be pink floyd. And then that awkward two minute silence after O, is that even necessary? Were they just trying to make the album seem longer? Why a whole two minute wait until the bonus track comes on, completely pointless.

One more day until i can finally listen to the album! Ive heard the three bonus tracks as they wont be on the album, and i like that ghost story song so if that cant get on the proper album then its gotta be good!

Ive only read a few posts on here though, mostly not sure about the album and how the album is overproduced. Only time will tell as to how well received this album is
